We didn't experience anything like that. The CM went to each person & helped with restraints. Everyone in our room fit. But, there was no indication that she was in a hurry or timing how fast ppl got in. We had a few elderly ppl in our room & she took time to help them in.

I've been on the ride three times and find it pretty simple to get on the seat,just straddle the seat,move forward and hold the grips.From your post mentioning balance and restraints and being timed it makes it sound like its a very difficult process,some people may have more issue than others but for the most part its not a big deal.

Just want to make sure dh and I are covered I understand being we won't get to experience everything but I we'll die trying

Just let the CMs know you and DH need extra time boarding and it will be fine. Yes you are suppose to be able to load and unload all attractions under a certain time but most CMs will hold longer if they believe the person will get to ride. Thankfully I don't believe slow loading here creates an estop situation so no need to worry.

Huh??? What balance? You're sitting (straddling) a seat. Not much balance to get. And you don't put the restraints on, they are automated.

Even with all the changes, I doubt Disney would go so far away from the focus on the guests to treat them like that. Seems a bit too much of a shift.

We haven't been there yet, but I'm a little concerned about DH getting on. Stadium seating with no handrail, my DH can't do them anymore. His balance is not what it used to be. To be able to straddle the seat and get your feet just so, he may need an extra hand and an extra 30 secs.

There is plenty of time to get seated and adjusted. There is absolutely NOTHING to worry about. NOTHING. They will give everyone enough time to get seated. There is not a race

Are you aware that you can look for YouTube videos on what the seating is like. There's also a trial seat outside the ride for you to try out to see if you'll fit or have mobility issues boarding.

Thank you for that video. It seems so easy. Hearing people talking about getting on, I thought the seat was longer, leg opening looked tight. I've seen the pictures of the seat but not of someone getting on.

I too have read about the seating experience being awkward so a quick search provided the answers I was looking for. Visual aids explain the process so much better than typed words.
