Is it too soon?

Hi all,

as mentioned in another thread me and my wife just recently got back from our honeymoon at WDW, it was our first time and loved it to bits.

So much so that we're looking at booking for next September.

Do people think it's too soon, will the magic start to wear off?

Thing is we loved it to bits just being there so would much rather spend 2 weeks (or 10 days) there than on a beach somewhere.

I don't think it's to soon at all. I plan to keep going every two years at least, and I went 2007 and then went again 2008 and 2008 was probably my best disney holiday ever. If it's what you both want then go ahead.

it's never to soon to go back!! we went to DLRP in March and started planning our next trip to WDW while we were there!! the trip is 2 years away (today) but i'm in full planning mode. whenever you go i'm sure you will have a fantastic time and enjoy the planning xx

we did two trips last year one to plan our wedding and the other to get married!

we are going back this aug and will be going back next sept as well

I don't think a year would be too soon. I've gone three times within a year, on a couple of occassions (that's the danger of having an annual pass) and the third time was too much, so I didn't want to go again for a while.

I would not like to go yearly now, as I've been too many times - so longer trips less often would be better for me - maybe every two or three years. But I think it does take a lot of trips before you get tired of going & want to try other places.

Nope not at all...it's never too soon to go back. Our last trip was last June. And we go back in under 8 weeks.

Even when we weren't doing anything or just walking around Downtown Disney it's just magical being there.

Spent 56 days there (4 trips) last year. this year only 2 trips, 34 days. Just can't be there too much for us. Just want to go more and more every trip. Next month we almost booked Alaskan cruise but when it came to booking couldn't miss a trip to Florida.

We got married there in July and had booked again at the end of August!

Mostly this is because we didn't feel we got to do everything we wanted on our wedding trip. Lots of family to look after!

Only a few weeks to go and we will be back

Totally the wrong board to ask that question on!!

You'll find many people on here who travel every year and some multiple times a year and can't get enough of the place, I certainly don't think it's too much for another trip in a year, you'll probably want to book when you get back from that too.

We go 2 or 3 times a year and usually for 3 and half weeks at a time, we don't have any kids we just love Florida. We got back xmas week and we'll nearly be there this time next month

I have been every year for 11 years and this year looks like i wont be able to go and i am gutted i thought the magic would wear off but every year i want to go even more

It's so great to hear people say they want to go again and again (which is why I love reading these boards!). Makes a nice change from the incredulous looks I get together with "what? . . . . . .you're going to Disney AGAIN?" when I mention I'm going again this year to people at work / friends etc.

All I can think is "Good, it'll be less crowded when I go!"

I know its wrong to quote myself, but I just talked myself in to cancelling our Med cruise next summer and going to Florida again instead! We were determined to do something different, but who am I kidding?!?!
