We leave next weekend and have already paid but I'm starting to regret adding on the DDP!

I think you would be charged a fee at this point.

Why are you regretting it? We love being on the dining plan because everything is paid for in advance and it seems to make the trip less stressful for us.

You can cancel the DDP, but you will be charged a $50 fee. Any changes made to a package 44 days or less from arrival that result in a decrease in the total cost incurs a $50 change fee.

You can cancel it up to 3 days before you arrive, but since you're downgrading your package there's a $50 fee.

If you're on a DVC reservation, you can cancel the DDP anytime up to 2 days before arrival, no fee.

Don't regret it. Disney Dining plan is the best! It makes the trip that much more fun knowing you can go out to nice dinners every night and they are already paid for. The important thing is to have all of your reservations made. One less thing to worry about! I haven't gone to Disney without the dining plan since they first started it and wouldn't go without it!

I agree :) We love it in our house and have always come out ahead :)

I love DDP because it makes our visit less stressful (meals paid in advance) and because for however long we are there, there is no debating about dessert - it's included, so the kids can have it.

Of course, we remind them that back at home, it's the same old, same old...

Yeah, if you are the Disney company or own Disney stock!!

We've had it twice and won't go without it (free or not). I don't own stock in anything, much less Disney.
