Is it too late for deal for March??

We are going down in March (11-18) and some friends want to go for a few days also. They are staying at the CBR and I think they are paying rack rate. Her parents called because they wanted to book a room for 1 night and it was $188.00 per night. Is there anyway they can do better than that at this late date? I'd really like to help them out here. Thanks.

There are no room codes available to the general public that are good for those dates.

If they have an AP, they might be able to get a room discount using the BEW code.

If they have CAA or AAA, the possibilty of a discount of 15% off of the rack rate exists.

The problem is that their dates are during spring break and the hotels will be filling up. Only a set number of rooms are available at the discounted rates. Once those rooms are filled, the rest of the rooms go at rack rate. If they qualify for any of the above discounts, they should have their travel agent check to see if any discounted rooms are available.
