I just make ressies for 11/9-11/18 and got the water parks tickets, but will it be to cold? I was thinking of just cancelling them.

we wished that we had gone to the waterpark in 2006, it was not hot, but it would have been the least visited park when we went. We had already had snow in maine, so even 75 was really warm for us. We did cancel the waterpark option for our trip this year as we were not interested in going to BB.

It depends. There have been Novembers with 80-85 degree weather, and others where it's in the 60s. No way to tell.

:earsboy:

One of the weather sites shows the historic average weather conditions for Orlando in November as Average low 59° Average High 79° lowest recorded 35° (1981) highest recorded 89° (1992)

so as said above "No way to tell"

We have always had great weather when we have visited in November and there has always been lots of people swimming in the pools and at the water parks having fun.

We have been to both water parks in November, the last time beeing 2006. It was plenty warm in our minds, but I can recall one of the photo pass people saying that we were "some of the brave ones" out at the water parks in November LOL!

We live in AZ so we know hot and warm temps.....our weather is comparable to FL in November. Do we go to water parks here in AZ in November???? Nope! But when we're on vacation at DW we LOVE LOVE LOVE to go! They are so much fun for our family.:yay:

We've been there over veterans day before and the kids were MORE than fine to swim/water park. I however don't swim at all so unless it's July in Florida...i don't bother!!! I know the pools and I think much of the water parks, the water is heated too. Except for the Shark pool at Typhoon lagoon, which is always cool b/c of the live fishies!!! If you're not sure..cancel it off your park ticket, and when you get there..if its warm enough for you, you can always "upgrade" it back on.:goodvibes

have fun!!

The awesome thing about Florida is that even if we have a "cold snap" and it gets into the 60's one day, the very next day its back into the 80's. I'm sure there will be a nice day during your trip that you'll be able to use the WP option. Enjoy!

We went in November, and had a blast at the water park. It had low crowds, and the temp. was very comfortable.

I think it depends on what your used to. Here in PA, November is usually cold and I swam on each November trip that I have made to WDW. 'Course, when its 60 degress here, we're whipping out the shorts and grills after winter so I think its all in perspective.

We are going Nov. 5-12 and we're planning on going. We like to go this time of year, it's warm enough to swim, but not hot so you don't sweat to death and you can still enjoy yourself. We went the same time several years ago and I got a nasty burn in Nov.

Again, it depends. I have been in mid-November four (4) years in a row. One year it was 85+ everyday, and last year it was in the low to mid 50's. I could not believe Jersey was warmer than Florida was at night. We had to go shopping for sweat outfits because it was so cold. Usually, we just pack shorts and light pants. Boy was I fooled last year. It is hit or miss. :confused3

I will be there at the end of November this year because of the push back of the X-mas decorations. Stay tuned to the weather channel.:dance3: :dance3:

Yes! Last Thanksgiving week we went to BB for a really fun day!! Temps were low 80's and very sunny. :)

However saying that you never really know for sure if it will be warm enough. I always plan a few days that would where we could go to a water park if it is warm enough as the kids love them.

We keep the water in all the slides and pools around 80F (27C) except for Shark Reef which does not have filters, pumps or heaters. What you want is a day that will be bright and sunny and preferably not windy.

If you go on a day that is heavily overcast you will not be able to take advantage of any radiant heating (from the sun) or on a windy day (especially with a dry wind from the North) you will get hit by wind chill.

But a day with the highs in the mid-50s or above which is sunny and calm most people (at least from Northern climates) should be comfortable.
