I'm trying to book the Poly for the 4 nights 3 nights free special the last week of April but it is not available. If I keep trying, might it come available? How often should I keep trying? I'm crossing my fingers. I hadn't planned on traveling so soon after our last trip but this special is hard to pass up!

Are you having trouble b/c the website is down? Or are they blocked dates? I'm not sure-but I think they have blocked dates for the 4/3 deal.

no, it's not a blocked date. They gave me alternatives. I believe that the Poly is just booked for those dates...it gave me Beach Club or Grand Floridian as alternatives...

Must be what you were looking for is sold out for that time. Ex: we love the Poly but once we put our dates in for a garden view around Christmas a few years ago they were sold out of those rooms. You could book somewhere else & then keep checking-if people cancel they will most likely do it w/in the 45 days-no fees. But with these deals-less chance of cancelling probably.

We're going in mid-April, Poly w/the deal. I've checked online several times for our dates (just to see what was still out there). Sometimes there are no rooms at the Poly, and other times there are (about 50/50). If you really want to stay there, I'd suggest checking the website a couple times each day and grabbing a room if you see one. People cancel all the time, and I've noticed rooms have popped up this week that weren't available before. Good luck!

thanks for the well wishes, i'm going to keep trying...maybe book the GF instead? If I find out you can see the fireworks and EWP there too, maybe I'll do that instead....(but still crossing my fingers for the Poly!)

You might also try going through a travel agent. Sometimes they are willing to keep checking back to see if they can get what you want.

Keep on checking. People will cancel, and chances are it will eventually be available. Just have to time it right.

Keep trying. If you are determined to get it, try at least twice a day online.

I wanted CR MK-view for my trip in January. It showed up online somewhere around final payment time. I hemmed and hawwed and finally called an hour later to switch over. Nope...gone.

Three days later, it popped up again. I called CRO and by the time I got to an agent it was gone again.

A week or so later, I caught it just right and got my room with the 4/3 deal. I checked after I booked and it still showed up. It stayed online for probably 2-3 days and is now gone again.

Oh, and this wasn't just for the CR. The same thing was happening with a majority of the deluxes. At one point, I couldn't get anything above WL or AKL. Eventually I had my choice of any deluxe resort.

They extended the deadline to January 24th.

To OP - definitely keep checking back. I was booked POR, b/c while I wanted BC we couldn't afford it. When the deal came up I tried for BC but ended up with YC std because all the BC std were/are booked for my dates. I was told that if someone cancels or doesn't send in their deposit by the deadline the BC std rooms might become available again and I can switch with no fees. (I keep checking so far no luck). If you definitely want to go then book your room at your second choice with the 4/3 deal then change if a Poly room becomes available but if doesn't then at least you got in on the deal at your second choice.

Ooooh another thought. Are your dates flexible at all? Can you adjust your dates by a day or two in either direction and get in? It may just be the first or last days or so that it's booked. We're going May 3-9 and Poly GV is still available.
