Is it safe to book with Airtran?

That upgrade deal is great if you are flying from the East Coast, not from the West Coast, unfortunately. In fact, there isn't even an option for upgrade on the Seattle-Orlando-Seattle flights

DH flies Airtran all the time.

The first class is nice - bigger leather seats - two by two. You get drinks prior to takeoff. One flight attendant looking after you at all times. Better snack choices (regular bags of chips, snack mix, cookies) and you can ask for more. Free drinks.

You can usually upgrade at the airport for around $49+ (I think it's $69 from BUF to MCO)and they will make announcements at the gate if anyone wants to upgrade if there is space.

You can also do this 24 hours prior to your flight - if you checkin on line.

If you've only paid for a really cheapie fare, it can be worth it. But you are paying a bit extra for first on, first off and all the free booze and pretzels you can eat!

These were nice but it was the bigger seats and ROOM that I liked the best..it was sooo worth it!

I was Ty & Ry's mom years ago on TP and I am now ~tinkerbell~ it's not really the same as it used to be. I met a lot of great ladies from the craft forum and we get together a few times a year, but I don't really post there anymore

I wonder if this cost is for the roundtrip or for each way??

I answered my own question...it's for each flight...so $69 x 2!
