Is it risky to wait until we get there to reserve Discovery Cove?

We are really hoping to go to Discovery Cove when we visit Florida the first week of November. I realize they are only open 4 days per week in November but am wondering about booking ahead. I would rather wait until we get there and see what the weather is like before investing in it. What are the risks of the park filling up in early November? I would like to book it for when I see the forecast.

Personally, I wouldn't wait to book until I get there, but I am not a last minute person by any stretch. While I am not cut out to be a super-planner like Disney demands (with Fastpass times, ADRs, and your entire vacation all planned out to the minute months and months ahead of time), I do want to have a general idea of where we will be each day of our holiday. Plus, you add in the fact that the prices will likely be at their highest (if there is any availability at all) which would be a bummer too.

We booked our first trip to DC for a day in January, and we worried about the weather too. It turned out to be spectacular. With the waters so warm in most of the sections of the park, honestly I would go ahead and book and not give it a second thought. But YMMV!

Hmm, yes I do feel a bit stressed not knowing. Although we won't have to worry about the prices (which are already up to 199 without dolphin swim) as I am going to get a Seaworld AP and go that route this time. We went to DC last year on Oct 31 and it was a beautiful sunny day but cold!! We had the first dolphin swim and it was in single digits (celcius) and I never got warm again the whole time we were there. It was just after hurricane sandy came through. Because of that we want to be sure it is going to be warm as it will cost our family $750 just for a day if we add in the cost of the AP. Too expensive a day to be shivering through it. But I don't want to chance in no availability either.
