Last year when we were at the world, we went to Ebcot on afternoon. My daughter did not like it and starting being a brat. We did not get to go over on the world showcase. I am wanting to this park as one of my all day trip. Will a seven year old enjoy this park?

My 7 yr old DD and 5 yr old DS love epcot. At the world showcase they have all the kidcot stations and a few in epcot itself. You can also find a lot of the characters in a lot of the countries.

My DD (now 8, but going to EPCOT since age 5) loves EPCOT. She prefers Future World to World Showcase, but still enjoys the Kidcot stations enough to be happy going around WS with me. Truth be told, she'll tell you she doesn't like WS, but she does have a good time between the Kidcot stuff, the food, the characters, etc.....

MK seems to be the only park that most everyone agrees on, though. The other 3 theme parks have people who love them and people who are out of there in a half a day. All down to personal taste in the end.

Two of my kids have considered EPCOT their favorite park since they were pre-schoolers. In FW they love The Living Seas (now with Crush!), The Land, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, that dinosaur thingy (youngest dd wants to be a paleontologist) and the braver ones like TT and MS. We ALL love SSE (ds calls it his fav in all of WDW!) Many of the countries have movies, which my kids enjoy, and 2 of them have rides. We all like the shops and enjoy trying different foods every trip. Don't look at it as something boring and educational. Tell you dd it will be fun! Maybe she was just tired the last time?? You could also talk/read about the different countries before you go, look for hidden Mickey's, enjoy some of the entertainment, look for characters, ect......

My son (7) loves EPCOT. It is his favorite park. He loves Innoventions and the Kidcot fun stops.

My kids are 12 and 8 and they dont care for Epcot at all, but either do we. We go for about an hour to do TT and that is it. This time we will go over to do TT again and Soarin' for the first time, then we will leave. We tried it once and just never got into it, we are more action/thrill ride people.

Mine was 7 last year. He was completely bored. Other than Maelstrom, and the river ride in Mexico, there is virtually nothing for him in world showcase.

When Disney has to organize special coloring stations for the kids, that's telling. My kids can color here for 3 bux. If that's all there is to keep em interested, there's something amiss. They really need some attractions around WS. They don't have to be expedition Everest type rides. Just nice ones. The Maelstrom is great.

DS6 has always loved EPCOT. Sometimes he says it's his favorite park over MK! I'm not sure if it's because it's more spread out or because there's such a variety of things to do. I'm just glad he likes it so much!

My ds's were 7 and 11 when we went and didn't care for EPCOT WS...we are thrill ride, high energy people and they hated strolling around shopping (although they did enjoy the 'let's eat all the way around the world experiment...we got to Germany and were ready to burst! :rotfl2: ). I guess it depends on the kid. Are there other people in your party so that you can split up, at least for 1/2 a day? Everyone can do EPCOT Future World in the am, then take your child to World Showcase and if she doesn't care for it then have another member of your group take her elswhere while you enjoy it! We did this last trip as I knew my kids would be impatient and whiny if I took them to WS again, my sister and brother took them to the waterpark while my step-mom and myself had a wonderfully leisurely stroll around the showcase. We still had many other days to enjoy our time together and it actually was a nice break from the kids for me and a great time for the kids iwth Uncle and Auntie!!
