Is it possible (transportation related)?

We could only get a reservation for Chef Mickey's for 7:05AM and we are staying at POP. Is it even possible to get there for that reservation?

I do hope to find one for 8:30AM or so but right now I'm stuck with this one.

Your best bet would be to rent a cab.

My suggestion would be to just get a taxi. It shouldn't cost much more than $20 or $25. Well worth the cash in my opinion than having to worry about catching the bus then transferring or walking over.

Hopefully you will get your later time slot as your trip gets closer. We will be there November 7 to 14th staying at SSR.

There are 7 of us (we are traveling with friends). I hope to find a taxi minivan if it comes down to that. I was wondering if buses are even running early enough for us to attempt the bus.

Buses start around 6:30. That would be cutting it very, very close (at best.) Taxi vans are plentiful and would be the smartest choicel

Just did this today, going from AKL to chef mickeys for 855 reservation. Bus from AKL to MK, then walked to Contemporary. It took a full solid hour, and we walked fast!! You have to take a long route from the bus stop at MK, towards the MK gates, then back around towards CR. it took a lot longer than it would have if we could have headed straight to CR from bus drop off. Might have been faster to walk from bus drop off to monorail at MK and ride to CR. but plan on an hour. I wished we had taken a cab!!

Just did this today, going from AKL to chef mickeys for 855 reservation. Bus from AKL to MK, then walked to Contemporary. It took a full solid hour, and we walked fast!! You have to take a long route from the bus stop at MK, towards the MK gates, then back around towards CR. it took a lot longer than it would have if we could have headed straight to CR from bus drop off. Might have been faster to walk from bus drop off to monorail at MK and ride to CR. but plan on an hour. I wished we had taken a cab!!

It is absolutely faster to walk to the Contemporary than it is to take the monorail.

I don't think I agree with that, at least not if your destination is Chef Mickey's. The Contemporary is the first stop from Magic Kingdom, and the Monorail station is directly above the restaurant.

It does really stink you have to double-back so far walking.
I remember doing that once when I was dropped off at the 1st bus stop peninsula. If I was allowed to use common sense, I had plenty of time to safely cross (that seldom driven bus road) but I followed the walking path and was fully warmed up for the Chef Mickey's ADR.

Chef Mickeys is a 10 minute walk from the bus stop.

The monorail is a 5 minute walk from the bus stop. Then you will have a 0-15 minute wait. Once the monorail arrives, it's another 5+ minutes to load and ride to the Contemporary. And then you still have to unload and walk downstairs to the restaurant.

OP is trying for a 7:05 am reservation. If they had a reservation for 7:30 am or later then they would probably be fine using WDW transportation.

Safe yourself the headache and take a cab. Honestly. You won't regret it.
