My calendar says 6 months until our next trip to Disney. I cannot wait that long! I have pretty much done everything from reading Disney World books to creating Disney powerpoints lol. I have two new piano Disney music books and just bought three more disney CD's lol. I have played online Disney trivia and well...I guess you could say I am starting to repeat myself lol. I wish I could just wave a wand and turn these next 6 months in 6 days! However I guess the anticipation is all part of the experience. My question is, what are some things you do after you feel you have done everything possible and still have an extended amount of time left?

I know how you feel. We only have 4 months but I could go tomorrow. I look at all my other trip pictures and we just got back a few weeks ago so I am still working on that scrap book.

I've got a little over 6 months left too and the wait is killing me :scared1: . I watched the planning DVD several times as well as all the specials that I recorded about Disney from the History channel and Travel Channel. I'm at the point now where there is hardly anyhing left to plan (been planning since April 05). 3 more days and I can call in my ADR's.

That seems to be the problem with WDW, blowing through your whole summer to get to a fall WDW vacation. Been there, done that. We seem to have found our answer, we go in October and March, gets us our Disney fix, we never have to do the commando style trip and our seasonal AP's saves us money. With the AP's if we just want to eat or see one thing in a park, no big deal, pop in and back out, hop to wherever we want knowing in 5 or 6 months we're coming back. No split stays, too much of a hassle and we stay in only 2 resorts, Poly or WL and maybe, now that its refurbed CR. WE started out whole WDW scenerio in 1977 at the Contemporary, many trip there until Disney called us one year and offered us the GF, same price and that trip while at the GF, WL just opened and we really like the place. Ruled out GF after that one trip but the Poly and WL our like our homes away from home. Rambling...........................

You don't want to do that.

Imagine yourself several decades later in a nursing home and holding that wand and regretting that you wiped five months twenty four days "poof" out of the middle of your life, time you could have done other enjoyable things, maybe traveled somewhere else, seen some good movies, spent time with friends, played sports, etc.

By the way, check your plane reservations every week or so just in case the schedule changed and your seat assignments got lost.

Ruled out the GF!? The GF, like the WL and Poly for you, is our home away from home! We love the place  .

I understand what you mean. It's just that...as each day goes by, the more excited I get! I can just dream about getting up at 3:00 am that morning and getting ready, then waiting for our limo to come and pick us up. We are leaving from Logan Airport in Boston this year (we usually leave from Bradley in Hartford so not like my fear of flying was enough...lol) we are about an hour and a half from logan so we can enjoy the limo more ;) . Then landing in Orlando with the humid air immediately hitting against my face as I walk up that ramp...waiting for our luggage as we shake with anticipation just waiting to see that big ol' sign "Walt Disney World". Then checking in at the GF counter knowing that we have a blank canvas to fill with unforgetable memories and magical moments. Anticipating that single moment where time seems to stop everything whether it be on Splash Mountain down the final drop, or just looking at your family and thinking to yourself "wow, I must be the luckiest person in the world." That...that is what I just can't wait for!!! :hyper:
