Is it possible to see Fantasmic and the Star Wars firework show on the same night?

I saw some older threads discussing how Fantasmic and the Star Wars fireworks are only 30 minutes apart, making it nearly impossible to see both... Is this still the case? Were doing a dining package to see Fantasmic (we tried to see it two years ago at Disneyland but it got canceled due to high winds) but it would be awesome to see the fireworks as well.

Maybe if you can share the day you're going. Od the show's are scheduled 30 minutes apart it's not possible

Last time I tried (this January) it was impossible due to the different location of the two shows. We had to choose.

That's disappointing! Do y'all think there's a reason they make it impossible to view both?

Nothing in DisneyWorld is by mistake. They want to split the crowd plus increase the chance that you visit the park twice.

it's impossible when the timing is only half an hour, if the shows are an hour apart (and they've done that) it's possible, it's not the location but the timing

They used to do 2 Fantasmic shows per night. The addition of fireworks, and making you choose, reduced the demand of Fantasmic so that they could get away with 1 show per night.

They must have changed the times, because last February we got out of Fantasmic and the Star Wars show had just begun. We saw both.

We have done both by sitting in the back of the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater and leaving immediately at the end of F! and then speed walking down Sunset.

F! is 25 minutes long-we were able to get to Star Wars-A Galactic Spectacular about 2 minutes into the 14 minute show,so not the optimal way to see it,but still fun.

Don't know if they still do it,but they had a CM with a sign directing Guests coming from F! who wanted to see the fireworks to turn right before Hollywood Blvd. and go by Starring Rolls and Brown Derby to a viewing area.

I know we've walked out of Fantasmic into the fireworks show, just as it was beginning. But I don't remember how long it was between shows during that trip. If I remember correctly, Fanstasmic runs about 22 minutes long. So, you'll have only 8 minutes to get out of the theatre and back to the fireworks show. I don't think it would be possible with a dining package. The dining package gets you into the centre section of the theatre, and to be able to catch the fireworks show, you're going to want to be near the exit, so you can basically be first out of the theatre. If you're first out of the theatre, and don't mind being at the back of the crowd for the fireworks, then it might be possible, but not guaranteed.

When I was there in January, the Star Wars fireworks and Fantasmic were both at 8pm, which was very disappointing. It was like that our whole trip, and we were there 2 weeks.

When I was there this past month Fantasmic was going on when the fireworks were finishing/finished. I actually forgot they were around the same time so as I left the park and heard noises I was like "that can't be Epcot, it's not 9 yet", and looked over to see all the lights over at fantasmic. It may be different during different times of year (like summer) when park hours seem to be longer most days, but it was definitely not possible in January/February this year.

Most of the time, the shows are 30 minutes apart.
If you are toward the top and the end of a row, you can leave just before the finale and get over to see Star Wars, if its not too crowded. But to see all of Fantasmic and then Star Wars, not likely.
The times they have Fantasmic with 2 shows, it can be done.

In January they were both at 8PM. If the park is closing at 8PM, which it has been most of the year both are likely to be at 8 PM.

If they get into later park times and have 2 shows then you can do it. Even if you were 30 minutes apart Star Wars runs about 12 Minutes or so and then the crowded walk would make it very tight if near tough to do without missing.

They do this to split the crowd and manage the masses going out in the evenings. You should monitor the park closing and show times as they may change from what they have been. But right now both at 8PM.
