Is it possible to see both fall and Christmas decorations in a one week trip?

I'm considering booking a trip for the last week of October/first week of November. If I arrived on October 30 or 31st and stayed through November 6 or 7th, would I see both fall and Christmas decorations? I got this idea when we went from 10/27-11/2 a couple of years ago. They took down Halloween decor one day, and immediately started hanging Christmas lights. But I'm just not sure how long it takes before they get everything ready.

This is on my bucket list! I've been both times of year, but it just seems magical to be there for the complete transformation.

You will see SOME .Not all.Christmas decor goes up in phases.MK is done in time for the first MVMCP of the season, the other parks and resorts go in phases till they are completed by Thanksgiving week.

Yes! We saw them both last year! We went from October 29th-November 9th. We saw all of the Halloween and then most of the Christmas.

The Castle was lit I believe by November 4th for Christmas. Most of the MK decorations were up and going by the 6th. The Osbourne Family lights stared on the 8th. That is why we stayed until the 9th because we wanted to see the lights.

There was a Halloween party on November 1st (not sure about this year). The Halloween decorations started coming down by the 2nd and it all happens fairly fast. It was really fun to see both decorations and how things transformed over night! A little strange too but we loved it. pixiedust:

You could go to both the Halloween and Xmas parties and see the MK decorations (with the exception of the Christmas tree) and you may be able to hit Osborne lights and see most DHS decorations (there aren't that many) and AK might have their tree up, but you will not see full decorations for Xmas at Epcot or the resorts. Epcot might have the tree up but nothing else will go up until after Food & Wine ends.

Thanks for all the replies! Now I really want to go that week. May have to start saving up and book it! :)

Yep! We have been for that week before and are doing it again this year. It is cool to watch the transformation!

I never really thought of this, but I love the idea. We've been at Christmas but have been dying to go for Halloween. Hmmm, now you have me thinking about another trip. :)
