Is it possible to get tickets booked with package earlier?

Hi,

we would like to book the Disney UK package with the free dining plan, which is offert at the moment for next year. But we would also like to stay at the AoA resort, so I planned to stay at

AoA form Oct. 03rd 2014 till Oct. 05th 2014 and at
OKW from Oct.05th till Oct 10th (with 14 day tickests and the free DP)

I thought we would get a voucher for the tickets, but now I'm not sure if that is the truth and if it would really work.

Can we get the tickets before we check in to OKW on the 5th? We would like to visit the parks on the 4th and the 5th, but on a more leisure pth and without the "stress" ;-) of the DP

Has anybody tried this?

Thank you for your help,
Sandra

Some people have said they have had their tickets a few days earlier but others have posted its not possible so I think it depends on the cast member you get.
If it is really important you get the tickets early then I wouldn't risk it myself.
What is the difference in price between the 2 resorts? I make it about £150. Is it worth the hassle of moving resorts after a few days? plus cost of food ontop, cost wise it won't be much difference.

Thank you for your answer.

7 days at the OKW with 14 day tickets and DP are 2170 pounds and
7 days at the AoA with 14 day tickets and DP are 2366 pounds.

So it's not so much the price, but i would like to stay at AoA and my husband likes OKW better. We thought splitting would be a good idea, but I won't risking not to be able to go to the parks.

I asked to do a split stay last year with the tickets and free dining deal. I wanted two deluxe resorts. I was categorically told no when I called and asked the question. I called twice to try different people and they both said no so don't do it without checking. I couldn't.

I'd suggest doing OKW at the beginning for 5+ nights, then move to AoA as that way you will get the free dining and the tickets and can use them for 14 days from first use. You'll have to pay for your Dining plan at AoA of course.

As to getting tickets early, we've always been able to, up to 3 days early, at DTD Westside guest services, but I understand that Disney changed their terms and conditions at some point last year so that you can no longer do this for bookings being made now:confused3. So I wouldn't rely on being able to do this any more, best to start the holiday with the free ddp element of your stay and then move to another resort (Disney will transfer the bags for you, very easy) or offsite.

You definitely can't do a split stay without buying 2 lots of tickets. Never heard of anyone thats been allowed to.

I agree :goodvibes
Although your dining credits do expire at midnight, the day you check out. So if you have leftover credits, you can use them that night for dinner :thumbsup2
personally id just go to OKW and enjoy the free dining all of my trip and just take a visit to AOA. We've planned a day to go and look around, perhaps even eat lunch there. :)
