Is it possible to get a gallon of milk? Or even a half?

We're staying at Pop in February with my 2 year old. He LOVES his milk and will be asking for it a lot. Is there any place at all that I can get a gallon or half gallon to stick in the mini fridge?

The food court sells half gallons of milk. DS drinks a lot of it so every few days we were back buying more.

Yes and there is a nice space perfect for it in the fridge. I think the only option for a gallon is to order from a grocery service or hit up a grocery or drug store if you have a car. It would take removing one of the shelves for a gallon to fit though and I'm still not sure it would go all the way back. Half-gallon is probably the best option. There are plenty in the food court as the pp mentioned.

They don't need to be refrigerated and it is easy to take to the parks with you. I think is $15 or so for 12x8oz boxes. More expensive than buying by the gallon but much cheaper than in the parks, so it sort of evens out.

We did one big shipment with the milk, diapers, wipes, some of is favorite snacks like crackers and fruit pouches, some snacks for us and sunscreen.

Oh awesome!! You guys are so helpful, thank you! Half gallon will work perfectly, I'll just grab another when we run out! I had no idea there was even the option to buy on site, it's been SO LONG since I've been to Disney.

See, I keep telling my husband we should order our diapers and wipes from Amazon and just use our Prime to have it shipped to the hotel. He's very paranoid it won't reach there and swears we can cram it all into our suitcases.

This is the second time in two days folks have talked about using Amazon Pantry! I have had Prime for a while (and love it) and think this looks like a great way to pack less and just order snacks (or a supply of baby items but I'm beyond that stage LOL).

I didn't know you could do water as well.

We're going in the spring, but have a rental car to get to the Swan (then dropping it off at the Dolphin that same day). This would cut our snack stop down - we'd just pick up drinks and I may look into shipping now!

The individual milk boxes are an option too like another poster mentioned. I have ordered those from the grocery service. I recommend trying them first at home though. I only got a few (1 or 2 six packs), because my son was 3 and got milk with most of his meals, but he didn’t like them. Although knowing him he probably just found it strange drinking milk out of that because it looked like a juice box. We had the Hershey brand. You can see one of them in the picture I posted. My daughter liked them but she’s not a big milk drinker.

And if you’re flying I can’t recommend enough getting the diapers, wipes and other baby/toddler items to the resort either by shipment or grocery order. Went to Disney $50 lighter in 2010 due to an overweight bag after I kept putting stuff in the suitcase for my then 10 month old son. On the resort forum if you do a search there is a lot of information on having items shipped to your resort.

Didn't have an issue with delivery from Amazon last year and plan to do it again next year
But if you bring it with you on your suitcase then you have room for the souvenirs on the way back . Amazon pantry is also great
DS is used to the milk boxes cause I usually pack them with lunch. They do taste different so it is good to try them on the kids first, you can get them at Target

Just curious, but is there a reason your DS2 drinks that much milk? By age 2 they really should only be getting about 16oz a day. We found on vacation that they get plenty of milk at the meals and we just need water for the room (unless we are doing a lot of breakfasts in the room).

I've had things shipped to the Dolphin as well as the BWI. At the Dolphin it took them a little time to get the box delivered to the room, but it made it fine. I put the resort name and address as well as MY name and my confirmation number on the address label (shipped myself from home a box of snacks and essentials).

When I shipped to the BWI it was a funny story (at least to me). It was December, and the night before as I was packing, I realized my kids needed desperately (as I checked the weather forecast) a nice sweatshirt as well as some new tee shirts and a nice pair of sweatpants to wear in the chilly evenings. At that time, they were still in Hanna Andersson clothing (this was quite a few years back). I went online and got them ordered and paid for overnight shipping (yes it was a bit like over $20 shipping). Imagine my delight when we arrived back in our room the afternoon of our first day, and the nice resort bell services had placed the box in our room without us having to call or anything! It was so worth it - they wore those items several times that trip (and we were close to the laundry room so I could wash our clothes a couple of times).

I had heard it was a good idea to put your confirmation number as well as your name, in case there are more guests with a similar name (although my name is quite unique - my husband is Korean - but you never know!).

My son only drinks milks and water, and he under eats, is in the 15% for weight and the 95% for height. He needs the milk, and his doctor is aware of how much he actually drinks.

Totally getting off topic but I'm in healthcare and debated about responding or not. It's perfect to give your child just milk and water to drink. Juice is really a junk food past one serving. However, a lot of kids that are underweight are drinking too much milk. They fill up on their milk and don't eat enough...you might want to discuss that possibility with your doctor. I am not trying to tell a complete stranger what to do with their child but I just thought it might be helpful information that you didn't know By the way, I too, get a gallon of milk when we go on vacations for my two kids

I did know, but thank you. His doctor is aware of all of his medical needs/issues, and he receives the care necessary to thrive, but thanks again for your concern. We'll be getting our milk from the resort, now that I know I can.
