Is it possible to get 500,000 on bejewled blitz in one minute on facebook?

I like to play bejeweled blitz on facebook. Am lucky sometimes to get to about 150,000. Some of the people i know are between 350,000 and 500,000. I must really be awful! I don't see how they can get that score in 1 minute. My other friend told me they download cheats from the internet. I like the game, but was wondering how the heck i can get a higher score. Thanks!

I've gotten as high as 425K in a minute with no cheats.

I always try and get matches toward the bottom of the board, always look for 4 in a row matches.

From the add-on board I use the detonator, extra 5 seconds and the free multiplier and have gotten my highest scores that way.

A lot of the time I think it's just luck......sometimes you get a hot board and sometimes you don't.

My highest is about 350,000 I think, and that was using some of the boosts. I've never used cheats from the internet. My highest with no boosts is about 275,000.

Basically if you haven't scored a x2 multiplier in the first 20 seconds or so, you aren't going to get a high score. To get the highest scores I've been up to x7 or x8 in the minute.

My highest score without using any coins to help is over 400,000. Sometimes the board is better than others, I try to keep my matches near the bottom and earn the multipliers as fast as possible. You can also start matching before the voice says 'go', that gives an extra second or so which can be helpful.

Edit: With boosts my highest score is 602,950. I like the extra 5 seconds and the free multiplier, the others make me twitchy.

I can get 300-350 on a good week, but has a friend that breaks 400K from time to time.

Play all the time. It's fun and I would love to win a prize. Yes it is very possible to get 500,000. Without cheating and with boosts you can.

One of my Facebook friends got 500,000. She had no idea it was possible either!

Me - 5,000 is about my speed. I'm lousy at that game. The time limit makes me nervous!

My highest with boosts was 359,000. The highest I've personally seen is in the low 400s. I usually use the "mystery gem" and the "free multiplier" together, sometimes throw in the extra time, but I don't find 5 seconds too much help. I don't get how someone gets in the 5 or 600s! My "team" has hit the million twice -- once with just two of us playing that week. I find that the secret to that is to start slow -- don't try to get high scores the first few times you play since your score is considered twice in your team. Get 12,000. Then get 25,000. Then get 37,000. It'll keep adding up. I'm addicted to this! If anybody wants to "friend" me just to have another player on their team (I have three friends listed on my team who very rarely play, and would love to have more actual players to try to hit that million consistently), PM me and I'll give you my full name.

I find it so addictive too! Its the only reason i go on facebook! Three of my friends score very high but they play alot more than me. Thanks for all the great hints. i downloaded the game and got alot of free points, so then i bought some boosts and my score is higher, but still not that high!

I average 350-400 with out any cheats. I didn't even know there were cheats. I have one friend that consistently breaks 500. She says it is her husband playing and she doesn't know what he does to get that high!
