Is it possible to enjoy Disneyworld with a baby?

My favorite trip with my family was when my oldest son was just about to turn 2, and my daughter was 8 weeks old. Obviously neither have any memories of this trip. But it was fantastic because we just totally went at their speed. We rode the carousel over and over because it was my son's favorite. We took breaks. We ran around Tom Sawyer Island. We did things that I really never did at Disney because I just took my cues from them! Babies are easy, older kids are way more work lol.

It gets more challenging when you have older kids AND babies. It's hard to just do things on their terms, because suddenly you have babies who need one thing and big kids who need something different. I'm slightly more worried about our upcoming trip where the kids will be 1, 3, 5, and 7. The older 2 want to do all the big kid things and stay up late. The baby will need naps and early bedtime. The 3 year old will want to do way more than he can actually handle.

Babies at Disney are super easy in our experience!

Now, toddlers are a different story, but we still do it and manage to have a great time! :)

Absolutely! My DS3 went for the 1st time when he was 4 months old and he was actually easier then rather than now in the toddler stage! Take the baby and have an amazing FAMILY vacation! Congratulations!!

I took my daughters in February 2015, ages 9 months, 6, 10, and 13. It was WAY easier than I thought with a baby! I think it depends based on the baby's personality, but in most cases, I think under one is easier than 1-2 years old. I breastfed, sometimes on dark rides covered (The Great Movie Ride, Ellen's energy adventure, Spaceship Earth, etc). Using Rider swap and fast pass worked out great. She slept a lot and the slow moving rides were great for her. There were lots of rides I could take her on. I probably wouldn't have taken her on POTC if I had remembered the drop. It was much more difficult when I took her at 20 months.

It's totally doable! Be sure to check out the baby centers - they were a huge help to us even with a toddler.

I was surprised babies were allowed on due to the drop. What bothered you about the drop and holding the baby? Hesitatnt if I should take a 9mo on that.

It bothered me because I forgot there was a drop. Lol. If I had remembered there was one and I knew exactly when to expected it, it would have been better. It was still fine in the end because I was holding her. She didn't get hurt or scared, but it caught me off guard. I wouldn't have taken her on had I known. I would have taken turns with my husband because it was almost a walk on at the time anyway.

We went when my son was 8 mos and when he was 2.5 and he was much easier at 8 mos. As a baby I was able to hold him and comfort him more easily than when he was a toddler! Enjoy & congrats!
