Is it possible to do Fantasmic and Jingle BAM on the same night?

We are going to Hollywood Studios on December 22nd (pretty busy I imagine) and according to Park Hours the schedule is:

Fantasmic 8pm
Jingle BAM 9pm
Fantasmic 9:30pm

We currently have a FastPass+ for the first showing of Fantasmic but could change that to the second showing.

Family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens)

Will it be practical to see both Fantasmic and Jingle BAM and, if so, which is the best way around to do it?

Also, do you think that FastPass+ will become available for Jingle BAM or is it just the Dessert Party (not sure we'd get our money's worth on that)

If its not really practical we could do Fantasmic another evening but would prefer to do one evening if possible

Thanks :-)

Only if you do it this way:

Fantasmic 8pm
Jingle BAM 9pm

Thanks. So, then how long is Fantasmic, about 20 mins? Then I seem to recall that it takes a while to get clear of the stadium, meaning that we would probably get a poor spot for the Fireworks? Did I read that capacity for "decent viewing"of the fireworks is fairly limited at HS?

Maybe we are just better off decoupling them to separate days?

2. I seem to recall that it takes a while to get clear of the stadium,
3. meaning that we would probably get a poor spot for the Fireworks?

1. 28+ minutes.
2. Up to 15 min. to clear the stadium and exit paths.
3. That can certainly be the case.
4. The prime area is quite small.
5. You can do that.

We faced this same dilemma. Decided to do JBJB on our one-and-only HS day. Then as luck would have it, there is a late F! showing on one of our Epcot days so we decided to hop to HS for a 5pm Club Villian and then 8pm F! that night.

Are they really not going to change the times of Fantasmic so we can see both shows? We are going on December 2nd and at the moment they are within 45 minutes of each other I believe.

When star wars first started they had it spaced so you can do both shows and then they changed the times to overlap because it was impossible with how many people were trying to squeeze into an already full fireworks show and nobody could get around them to exit that didn't care about it. I can't see them going back to this, it just doesn't work in HS at this time. It sucks for someone that wants to see both but in reality, you woldn't get to see both if they did.

We had to pick between the 2 - only 1 F! showing on our HS night. We decided to go with JBJB DP since we are going for our first holiday trip - we are hoping to be able to hop a different night to see F! I was also bummed we couldn't do both in the same nigh.

I wonder if they are doing this deliberately to try and make HS a "2 day park" for people, or else they have to upgrade to hopper passes

Given Star Wars, it's very safe to assume the only priority viewing area for JBJB will be the dessert party area. No FP+.

Also given Star Wars, they are deliberately scheduling the two shows as they are to distribute crowd.

That's one way to look at it.

The other (and I think more cogent) reason is that the DHS area in which the projected images can be clearly seen is comparatively (vs the Hub in MK) very small.
If they always scheduled the DHS projection shows so that all of the 8500 Fantasmic! guests could flood in to see it,
the area would be dangerously full and likely cause quite a few "guest fighting" situations.
