I'm assuming no EE (i thought i read you are staying in Fullerton).

What (dates) & days of the week are you going?

Makes a difference in how you start your days. (& how you start your days will determine what you can get done in two days.)

Will you have rests? How late do you think you'll be staying at the park?

All depends on if the park closes at 8 or 12 and opens at 8 or 10???
Which days are you going?

We are going this Saturday and Sunday the park opens at 8am and closes at 12 midnight both days. No we do not have EE = ( We used Priceline and got Fullerton Marriott. It is only 6 miles from DL and we plan on getting there early as we have PS for character breakfasts each day. A CM i spoke to said we could get in early for the breakfasts. Probably will be leaving the parks after the last Fantasmic show.. around 11pm.

It might be busy since some parents take their kids out of school this whole next week. Plus Saturdays can be carazy.

I would really maximize those fast passes, and try not to get disappointed if you don't see everything :)

We will be there this weekend too but from Thursday till Monday I would think all that you have listed should be able to be done in 2 days if you get there when it opens and stay till closing. With a 4YO, will you have a stroller?

Yes we will have a stroller. Renting the DL one. We would not dare go to DL w/o a stroller! My daughter will be able to rest and we will bring her a blanket incase she wants to take a nap.

Just curious why you don't have more stuff written for toontown? We spent a whole hour there (we had TTMM though) with my 3.5 year old, she did Roger Rabbit and the Go Coaster, and played in the treehouse, goofy's house, and donald's boat... and we didn't even make it to Mickey's house because there was a line to meet him, so we skipped it...

Seems you are skipping 1/2 of fantasyland too... no dumbo or casey jr or any dark rides except peterpan?? I know you have a limited amount of time, but you should be able to do most if not all of fantasyland in the 1st hour the park opens one of the days, and maybe even get through part of tomorrowland... (assuming you are walking into fantasyland right as the park opens!)

I'd take off the railroad and the sailing ship to free up some more time, and over at DCA, there are lots of fun rides for little ones in Bug's Land... that may take a whole hour of your time too... and instead of Playhouse Disney, I'd do Aladdin... but I have a princess fanatic on my hands!

Oh and if you are doing Ariel's for breakfast you could skip PFF too to add another hour for other stuff...

Lastly, make PSs for dinner in the park, when we were there a few weeks ago it was impossible to get dinner at any of the sit down places without a reservation, and I ended up in line for over a 1/2 hour at hungry bear for burgers... this was a Friday nite... we had ressies for Steakhouse 55, but were so tired of walking in and out of the park, thought we'd eat in the park instead... uugh.

Oh and remember renting a stroller takes time... I would send my hubby to get it while we headed for the rides, and meet up later (text messaging works great for finding each other "just getting on astro-orbiters!")

Oh, and for child-swap only 1 of you needs a fast-pass, the other can get a "child-swap" pass when the fast-pass holder enters the ride. So you can hold fast passes for 2 different rides at a time... should help on the bigger rides (Indiana/ ToT/ Space/ Splash etc...)

Maybe, but the character breakfasts might slow you down. The most efficient touring time is before 11.00-12.00, and you are going in the weekend, which is busy.

The best plan would be to buy Ridemax - that might give you a clearer idea. Otherwise, my plan would be to do fantasyland, starting with PPF, but pick up a fastpass on one ride on the way (send a runner). You should be able to get another one before the characters breakfast at 9.30 if the park opens at 8am. I would be tempted to do POC before the breakfast too. Keep working those FP windows, and don't tour by land, but by ride.

Avoid rides like Dumbo if you are short on time, and leave its a small world till later if you get caught up... and sometimes the queue for the canal boats can be long and slow, so do that after PPF if its open.

You can Do DCA in a day no problems... as DCA opens later, you might want to go into DLfirst on the next day and catch other rides before heading across to DCA Your breakfast there is at 9.30, but hte park opens at 10, so send arunner ot pick a fast pass then.

Sounds possible, although you will definitely need to be there at opening and maximize your use of FP (I assume you learned how to properly use it?, because in your other thread it didn't seem like you understood). Also you might want to consider obtaining a FP before eating a character breakfast because if you come out of the breakfast and want to grab a FP, the return time might be for late afternoon or farther.

Also one note. If you plan on driving, the parking lot opens 30 minutes before park opening (I think it's 30 before EE, though I'm not 100%). So you need to make sure you have enough time to go from the parking lot to your character breakfasts. However if your hotel has a shuttle, what I just doesn't matter, as long as the shuttle runs that early.

Principly because the character breakfasts are going to tie up valuable time and the fact that you have to drive means the earliest you can get to the park gates is about 15min before opening...

Tight but do-able...

Good luck, show times and crowd numbers will make this "more like guidelines rather than an actual code"...

Not bad. I only have a couple small problems. First, I guarantee that they will not want to ride Nemo on their first day, first thing. It is an EE day, therefore, there will already be a 60+ line when they enter. Try later in the evening. Also, you have no return time for Autopia. Other than that, looks good.

Do all this, go all day and night, with a 4 year old along?

Yikes. My first thought is that "no, it can't be done". But there's lots of good advice above to come close. :) I'd ditch one of the character meals -- those really take up a lot of precious morning time.

Remember that one adult can be in a long line while the other goes somewhere to get FastPasses!

Also, do the Story Boats after dark- it's so much more wonderful all lit up. :)

ETA: We have always done Fantasyland later in the evening because a lot of people with little kids go home earlier.

Yes good point, they will need to do Peter Pan on the first day and Nemo on the second, the key thing is to do them early..

Good point on Autopia, they could probably fit it in before the fireworks, if not just after...

Swap Storybook and Pricess Faire around (so they can do Storybook at night) and I think they have a plan...

We are here right now on our 5th DL day. It is very busy! Just moving through the crowds with the stroller takes time. If it were me, I would probably lower your expectations so you are not dissappointed. Tuesday here was frustrating because I had a big itinerary (in my mind) and it was much busier in the park than I had thought a Tues. would be. I also have a 2 year old.....and those messy diapers always hit when we are nearly at the front of the line for something good.....or 5 minutes before a show starts......oh, well...we are having a blast!:thumbsup2
