...how is it possible that your DD has been to WDW many times, but your DS has never visited there?

Let's just say that my 26 DS has not been on the NICE list for a long time and has finally turned his life around and become a man....

For a long time he was not even on speaking terms with his father and quite school (high school) and lived somewhere else.

The last 4 years he has become a student, graduated from college with 3.5/4.0 GPA and become a licensed Massage Therapist. Looking for work in a hospital or physical therapy office.

I can say it has been 10 years in the making, he left home and dropped out of school when he was 16...

This morning I call WDW Merchandise to order two AKL pins. I was told that they can't be ordered until 30 days after their release date (4/14/11). So now I have to wait until May 14.

WDW's price is $10.95. The WDW Store (link above) had a price of $16.95 on Friday and now it is $24.95.

I think I'll wait until May and buy it directly through WDW.

DS was so ahead of age and DD is so behind in hers....

He was 16 going on 30 and he is now 26 going on 30. She is 17 going on 14....

I would just prefer that they act their ages!

Is that just too much to ask for!

I was afraid that his father might end his life for him, if he did not straighten up!

This is a sad story but I will tell it to you all since we are all friends...

DS left home and he did not want to be found.. The police we notified and a missing persons report was filed, but no one really cared because he was running away.

Well my DH got a call one day from a county sheriff in a neighboring town that they had found DS and that someone needed to come identify his body.

My DH went by himself without telling anyone what the sheriff had said, and went to the morgue to see a young man who had been shot in a drug buy, that looked a lot like DS but was not him.. my DH did not say anything until later, but that was hitting rock bottom for my DH.

Thankfully DS was found a little while later and kept in touch but still did not recover from his "ways" for a couple more years. He still apologizes for the things he put everyone through and the relationship between father and son is slowly recovering, but my DH is very proud of DS and feels blessed that DS is on a better path now.
