We're in the mid 70's today, DS wore shorts to school............. YAY!!!! It's been SO cold here and while we were on the trip!!! I"m glad for some warmer weather. For everyone snowed in.......... stay safe and warm!!!!

I will finally get to stay at Jambo House again even though it will only be for one night. We are going to stay there before going on the Panama Canal Cruise on January 6th as due to timings of the flights from the UK, we have to fly in on January 5th.

I have a few questions:

Will the Christmas decorations still be up on January 5th?

Do the shops at Jambo House/ Kidani Village stock the park Dooney and Bourke purses and if they do, is it just the white ones or also the coloured ones?

When taking back Disney Magical Express to the Airport, how many other resorts does DME usually call at after pick up from Jambo House?

We are back. We got home on Tuesday so we never had any warm FL sunshine It was just and I think I prefer the heat to the cold.

We had a great time, but 3 days for the parks is too short. I felt we were just rushing to everything. As for the bus issue, we only used the bus one day to MK and back for MVMCP and after having read the comments I was worried but it worked out fine for us. We used taxis for everything else.

My issue was with AKL-Jambo check in. This was our 1st time as official DVC people and the CM never said "welcome home". It took us over an 1hr to check us in, even with doing online checkin. It was now almost midnight, we walk to our room which was at the very end And our keys don't work. Well I had three kids who are now crying and it took another 20mins for someone to come up.

My mom, who also came with us was way on the other side.I never realized how huge this resort was.

There were also three women checking in that had booked and paid their room online months ago and they had no room for them. They had completely overbooked the resort. They wanted to put them in a bunkbed room

But overall we had a great time. And the resort was beautiful as ever.

They think the operation (replacing a valve) has an 85% chance that it WON'T work, but it's either that, or a hospice bad....
