Is it Obvious?

Maybe this is a silly question, but here goes...

We are not big Star Wars fans and have never done the meet-the-character experience at Launch Bay. If I'm reading correctly, it's now Darth Vader.

We will be taking my daughter's boyfriend to Disney for the very first time and he is a HUGE Star Wars fan. So, obviously, my daughter would like to take him to meet Darth Vader. (Warning: silly question incoming) Is it obvious when you are in the line at Launch Bay that you are in line to meet DV?? We were thinking that it would be fun to have the appearance of Darth Vader be a surprise.

Can someone tell me what the experience is like? Super long lines? Best time to get there?

Yes, it’s obvious because there’s also a line for Chewie and each line has a sign.

If you have a Disney Chase VISA or Debit Card, that line for Vader isn’t as obvious as it’s in another area of Launch Bay. It’s only open between 11 and 4.

If he's a fan and you can take the Chase Visa entrance, then I recommend after the meet and greet to take a quick spin through Launch Bay. There is some cool stuff in there!

We went around 9:15pm or so, almost at park close and took pics with all three characters at Launch Bay in less than 20 minutes. Then we ended the night by flying the Millennium Falcon in GE. ha
My wife and I are not huge Star Wars fans, but we really enjoyed both the Launch Bay picture session and GE.
