Is it obnoxious to call MS everyday??

I've been calling often too (not daily as I forget sometimes), we are only waitlisted for 1 night just like you and I think there's a better chance of finding something for just 1 night.

With only 2 waitlists allowed - it doesn't cover all the different views and configurations that we are willing to take (2 studios, 1 bedroom, or a 2 bedroom) at BLT or VWL.

...I guess I see all these daily WL calls as putting all our dues up in the end. Plus if there is a snag in the waitlist system - ie. that daily calling produces sudden "it's here" regardless of where any of us are on the list - then it needs to be fixed. That's insane. I have no other word for it.

The reservation process needs to be more automated, with real-time on-line booking. This will reduce the number of MS operators needed and save money.

I hate calling to make reservations for anything, and consider the antiquated reservation process one of the worst parts of the DVC.

I do call when I think about and have time...it's not everyday, but maybe a couple times a week. It does pay off to call more frequently closer to the date if it's workable...the CRO rooms get released at around the 7 day mark.
Called everyday the week before Christmas last year and each day I got one more day added to our BWV stay.

Interesting! How do you know CRO releases rooms at the 7 day mark? I have been trying to get a straight answer about this from MS and have been given contradicting information....Some said there is no pattern for releasing rooms. Other CM's told me they never release CRO rooms at all. Some CM's said "Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't".

We are 13 days out and I have been calling everyday...Hoping to upgrade from our studio to a 1 bedroom at BLT.

After my second call at the 7 day mark I asked and was told that sometimes there is inventory that opens from the CRO and was told to continue to call back each day for the next day that I needed. Each time I was put on hold for at least two to three minutes and they would come back with availability and it was only for that one night...I would have to call back (the 7 day mark) for the next night. Yes, it was a lot of work, but I got exactly what I wanted. You can also go and see if there is availability for the CRO rooms online to book...if not then there are no CRO rooms available for MS to book on points.
