Is it normal to feel this sick????

DH & I are leaving in a bit to go sign a contract to have a house built. It is a tract home in a development. We really love them home. Our payments will be quite a bit more than we pay now, but I have gone from a housewife to a nurse so our income has also changed. Anyways, I'm pretty scared. We should be fine, but I think I just don't deal with change well. Do you think it';s normal to be this nervous?

I think it is normal to feel nervous at such a time. Even though rationally you know you can handle it and the change will be a good one, most of us still get those little voices worrying about "what if".

Yep its normal! When we got this house we doubled our monthly payment. We were all terrified! Its been soooo worth it though!

YUP! Count us among those who douibled the monthly payment when we went from renting an apt to buying that first house. Scary!! So - yes, dont worry, your reaction is normal! Good luck on the house!

We more than doubled our payments when we went from renting to owning. Yep, I was *so* scared and nervous to do it... but it was so worth it! Congratulations and good luck with the move

I'm so glad I'm "normal" (Maybe? ). LOL When we first found the home I was soooo excited. When were waiting to be approved I was nervous but figured if we weren't approved then it wasn't meant to be. Now that it's time to move forward I have just been so worried. We don't expect completion til next summer. I hope I won't feel this way the whole time.
