I love to read reviews and it seems that they have just dried up!!!! Come on all of you...I need to see some FW reviews!!!!

We went to the fort August 1st -7th. Drank lot's of beer, cooked some baby backs, drank more beer looped a few nights, drank more beer and then we checked out. I have PAP's and we never went to a park. The End.

Oh and by the way, there were dogs everywhere not on leashes running wild drinking beer and one was on a golf cart and if my eyes were correct I think it was driving the cart.

My kids still don't know it yet , but we'll be there over Labor Day and I'm definitely planning on doing a trip report. Thanks to the information/advice from TCD, I'll even be swimming in Bay Lake! (There's a triathlon that weekend so I've spent all summer trying to get ready for that. Wish me luck. I'll definitely need it!)

Having said all that, I'm always looking for good FW trip reports too!

I will never forget the beer. We just never got to drink any last time. But you did make the toy story mania line go a lot faster.(it would have flown with beer)

We just got back from 16 nights at the Fort and it was fantastic. We loved the new pool area my kids would have rather stayed there then go to one of the parks. LOL We ended up renting a cart for 5 of the days we loved having it but they charge you a small fortune to rent them. We ate at the Trails End twice for lunch. It has changed since the last time we were there. Not a lot to choose from on the buffet and the food was not great at all the second time we went. We probably won't go back there again. We got annual passes and will be going back to Disney in December but staying at the Pop so we will miss the fort but will be back next June!

Don't know if you hung out here much before your trip, but there is a wealth of informtion to learn from here. For starters, there are 2 off site golf cart companies that are much cheaper than Disney. Also, Trail's End doesn't get great reviews by most on here.

Sounds like you had a good time though.
