Is it me or am I being too picky..........

The last few times we were at Illuminations I have found that the people around us talk very loudly throughout the whole show. I like to sit there and enjoy the fireworks and especially the music which does not seem to be as loud as usual. I think I play the CD louder in my car. This is just an observation.

Same thing happens during Wishes and Fantasmic. And yes, it is annoying.

The music is MUCH louder than anyone's voices though, even if they're right next to you!

I've never noticed it being a problem, at Fantasmic they were annoying and loud, but the show was louder.

I noticed this everywhere this trip! People talk through all the shows, the rides, the announements you name it. I hate it. And Disney seems to be trying to compensate by turning the volume up on everything. I had a lady next to me on soarin yacking on her cell! I gave her a really dirty look and was about to say something when she says I really have to go now and hung up. I guess those old teacher looks still come in handy.

Unfortunatly, I don't think that the problem is limited to Disney. People everywhere do this, in movie theaters, at stage shows, you name it.

Oh well, what can you do? Just grin and bear it I guess..though I do tell my BF to mind his manners. Often.

Comes from watching too much tv -- we're used to sitting around in a family room and talking during shows.

That doesn't excuse the behavior, only explains it.
