has anyone else noticed the standardization of food at WDW? What I mean is, the uniqueness (is that a word) of each dining location seems to be getting lost. Please don't flame me, but especially since the dining plan, dining card, free dining, etc. menu items seem to be changing and not especially for the better. Specific example is CRT (for dinner): We loved eating there the first night of our trip. Butter (REAL butter) was served in the shape of Cinderella's coach. The salad was frisse lettuce and field greens with gorganzola cheese, candied walnuts and to die for raspberry vinagrette. The filet was outstanding as were the desserts. Norway actually served Norwegian cuisine. Now it seems that everything from the bread with the meal to the steaks is repeated at most of the restaurants and is pretty bland and Americanized. Even the chicken I had at the California Grille could have come from almost any other restaurant on property. We're just curious to hear if perhaps we're overreacting or if others see this melding of menus happening, too. What's your opinion?
