I'd rather amputate with a dull butter knife than have DH sick.

Why can't the man throw-up quietly? Does he have to announce to the whole world *what* he's doing? I swear he wakes the dead. He is just awful.

OMG...this is my dh to a tee!

What really gets me is that I work from home, so there is no one to "cover" for me when I'm sick. My dd is 3, so she is still home all day. So, when I'm sick, my life has to carry on as usual...working (although I do try to limit it to emergencies only), and caring for the kids. I don't have a choice. But, dh gets a head cold, and he calls out of work sick and stays in bed all day. Hmph!!!

Funny - I mentioned this to DH today. I'm 5 months pregnant, so anything is "feeling bad" to me. Not to mention that I stay home with our 4 year old and 8 month old. YIKES!!!

But when I asked him why mommy doesn't get to spend all day in bed when she is sick, why I still have to carry on and take care of the kids....his response to me was "That's why your the mommy!!!!"
