Is it just me? Final Update post #83

It's nice to be sleeping again, and my TMJ is much better now!

I have no doubts about that!!!!! I know that the reason that she is doing well is because of the relationship that you and your DH developed with her and the good judgement that you showed while this was going on. Kudos to all of you.

One last update for those of you who like to read updates.

If you've read through this post, you read about DD's former BF (he was the one we liked). They had broken up over some issues that they couldn't seem to get resolved. Those issues have since been resolved, and they have decided to try dating again.

These two always got along extremely well, and both families were very fond of them. Who knows how it will go from here, but she said it's like they were never apart (and it's been 6 months).

The funny thing is that she called him Sunday night without knowing that he had "facebooked" her a couple of days before that asking her to call him so they could talk (she didn't see it until the day after she called him). He had planned to call her in a couple of more days if she didn't reply to the facebook message.

After six months, it's kind of funny that they both decided at the same time that they wanted to talk. And it's nice that it worked out so they both can feel that the other really wanted to talk to them.

Anyway, thanks again to everybody and for the kind words. They really helped at a time that I was very frustrated! :grouphug:

Isn't it wonderful how some things just work out? Last night I found out that the DD of a friend of ours is finally breaking things off with her BF of 2 years. It has been 2 years of agony for her mother. The boy lies and basically has seemed to want to date her DD because she is super-model beautiful, but also because her father has $$$$$$$ and then some.

She finally saw the writing on the wall that this guy has only even tried to get parttime jobs since he graduated from college and she's finally started to see through his lies.

So, my friend is as happy as you!

I hope everything works out well for your DD and her "new" boyfriend.

Hooray for your friend (and her DD)! I'm so glad that worked out!
