The only time I've eaten in the castle was with my DGDs for breakfast on Mother's Day. I KNEW that PS would be a challenge, but I had three people calling first thing in the a.m. and one of us got it. Our next trip is Oct. It's a vacation to celebrate our 30th anniversary and I'd like to make a PS for dinner. How hard is it to get dinner PS?

I don't think it's any harder than any other MK restaurant. We ate there for dinner in Oct. and it was the worst tasting, overpriced, poor service meal that we had the entire trip. I will never eat dinner there again!!! Hopefully someone can post a positive report for CRT otherwise IMO it is not worth the money or the time it takes to eat your meal!

We ate there in October 2003 and loved it. I didn't have any problems getting a PS, and it was pretty busy in the parks.

Planning on eating there again on our next trip. We're using the dining plan, so the price won't matter as long as they're still including Cinderella's when we go.

I loved the atmosphere, the service was great, and we both thought the food was tasty. Not to mention the reflection through the windows from the fireworks outside. Very romantic!

Can you actually see the fireworks from the restaurant? Or do you just get a glimpse that they are going on? :wave2: :wave2:

Can't answer as to the fireworks question (I would tend to think not to the fireworks tho) but we have eaten lunch and dinner at CRT and both have been wonderful. My dh still says that it was one of the better meals we've eaten at WDW. I had prime rib and he had a steak and they were both terrific. No matter what restaurant you ask about, someone is going to love it and someone else will hate it. I'm one of the few people that doesn't care for California Grill!! And most love it.

The last 2 times we went, I had no problem getting PS for dinner. Had the pick of what time we wanted. The first time was ate there the food and service was great. The second time we ate there, the food and service was horrible. We went in Oct. of last year. Friends of mine went there for dinner and watched the fireworks while eating dinner. They said it was nice. They had a window table.

I don't think you'll have any trouble getting the PS that you want for Cindy's for dinner. Just be sure to call on the 90 day out mark so you can get the time that you want.

We've had dinner there and it was EXCELLENT. The best tasting, most tender filet mignon I've ever had. Great service, too. In fact, DH and I will be having dinner there this July on our anniversary

Have a wonderful dinner!

P.S. Make sure they know it's your anniversary because they sometimes will give you a complimentary set of champagne glasses! (Does anyone know if they still do this? They were doing this a few years ago).

We ate there on a Saturday night in November and didn't have any trouble getting a PS. I made the ps about 40 days before our trip. We really enjoyed it. Everything tasted excellent. The service was fine and the kids loved the sundaes with the chocolate crown on top! I would definitely eat there again. princess:

DH and I wanted to eat at the castle for my birthday last may, so 90 days out (or whatever the "days out # was at the time!) I called in the afternoon. Well, they only had one seating available!!! I was SHOCKED!!! I would call 90 days out, just to be on the safe side!! :wave2:

We ate there for my birthday last May. Dh thought it was the best meal value that we had while we were at WDW. While it's overpriced compared to some restaurants around here, you have to remember that you are also paying for the atmosphere (and that you are in the world of overpriced food).

While our server didn't go above and beyond, he was friendly, efficient, and provided good service. He had no problems with ds 13 ordering from the kids' menu, though he did tease him just a little about it.

The food was excellent. I had a filet, and dh had some chicken dish (sorry, can't remember). We didn't leave room to order dessert, though the waiter did bring over a cupcake and certificate for my birthday.

I would definitely eat there again!
