Is it going to be busy first two weeks in April?

We are heading out to WDW on the 3rd of April and returning on the 7th. Just thought that this would be a good time but now I have been hearing that some kids have their spring break at this time. Can someone enlighten me! I hope that the parks will not be busy:confused:

The entire state of GA is on Spring Break that week, hee hee! We've been there during our spring break before and yes, it's very busy, but the weather is generally great and if you plan wisely and use fast passes and have your ADRs you'll be fine.

I think the state of Florida is on break the week of March 29th to April 5th too....I am going and I am expecting it to be very busy BUT we are planning on chilling by the pool most of the time

We are going April 5-12. I think the resorts are completely booked. When I switched my reservation from CSR, there were not a lot of choices available for that week. It is spring break for our area.

I am expecting big crowds but great weather for waiting in line! :goodvibes

It's going to be busy, but it's not going to be insane like Easter week, or other weeks when all schools are on break.

Spring breaks for schools are staggered throughout the spring, so it's pretty much always going to be busy. That's why it's not considered value season.

There aren't very many times any more that it's NOT busy at WDW, they do what they need to to draw people there all year.

Like someone said, at least you are going to have great weather in April.

Will be busy, most FL schools are on break 3/31 - 4/4 and most GA schools are on break 4/7 - 4/11. We are in GA and have break 4/7 - 4/11, but will be in south Florida at the beach!

We'll be there too!!! :cloud9: The schools here in upstate NY are on break from 4/14-4/18, but I'm taking my kids out the week before to go........because when I originally booked the trip I thought it wasn't going to be busy!!! :lmao:  :confused3

:happytv: <------ all of you lauging at me!!

Hi, I am from Georgia and our spring break is March 24-31. I know alot of the counties around us are on that same week. I think you are going to find that everyones spring break is more scattered this year than ever before. I think it will be busy at that time but I think it will be more busy right at Easter. Get to the parks early, you will have fun!!!

We are going to be at the WL from March 30 to April 5th, I have noticed that rooms keep opening up all over. The travel agent said that AKL was also available for those dates. Our original reservation was for CSR, but when the AP discounts came out we moved to our favorite resort.

We are from NH and the schools are on break at the end of April around here. Let's hope the crowds are not too bad.

I have been communicating with my travel agent through DU and she said that they still have a lot of openings for the time we will be there. We are staying at the contemporary magic kingdom view and I went online and they still have those rooms available. The only rooms I couldn't find were in the value resorts. Hopefully it won't be too busy. We are taking our son for his 13th birthday and have all of our ADR for every meal so at least we will be able to eat and not have to wait. We needed to do this because we also have a 2.5 yo who doesn't like to sit more than 30 minutes and then she is ready to go. I hope to see some of my fellow DISers out there. Let me know where you are going to be staying!

We've come to accept the fact that there are now two seasons at Disney; crowded and more crowded. It doesn't bother us anymore, we're just so happy to be there.
