Is it even possible to contemplate changing free dining res?

My Dh just accepted an offer for a new job starting 9/10, and we leave for WDW a week later on 9/22! He is interested in maybe telling new boss he would start on the week of the 19th and we could go the week of the 10th. I know we would miss out on the popular restaurants, but what I want to know is could we change (assuming availability with free dining code) or will we lose free dining because the book by date was 6/24?

You might want to call and ask - I was able to add a day to my free dining plan 2 weeks ago. I got a wonderful CM who was very helpful. If they have availability at the resort you want it may be doable to change your dates. Call and see

There was nothing on property at all for the 8-15th so i will stick with the original plan. I didn't want to lose all the ADR's I had made anyway! Thanks for the info though!

My guess is you would lose free dining. That deal had ot be booked by a certain time, and I doubt it can be changed after the time is over. But of course you can call and ask, the worse they can say is no.
