Hi is it easy to change maybe between new york and dh and any tips? maybe 3 nights at one then 2 at the Disney hotel?:laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy:

I'd be interested in any replies as well, did think about doing it this time but the CM said I'd be paying for a day park ticket that I wouldn't need. But I'm thinking of it for next year.

I have looked into this as well. On the DLP site it's confusing as sometimes once you've put your choices in it will come up with stay an extra day and night for x amount but sometimes it only comes up with stay an extra night for x amount, so for example you get quoted for 5 night and 6 days, sometimes it will come up with stay 6 nights and 7 days for x more and sometimes it will come up with stay 6 nights and 6 days for x more, so there must be a way of booking say 3 nights and 3 days at NHY and then say 3 nights and 4 days at DLH.

I would be interested to know as well though. Sorry not much help.

I've never tried it myself, but I seem to remember the official brochure offers the option of additional nights without tickets that you can add to the end of your stay. If this is the case, then what you could always do is:

1) Book a 2 nights / 3 day package (including tickets), + 1 extra night without tickets in your first hotel.
2) Book a 2 night / 3 day packager (including tickets) for your second hotel. This should start the day after your sleep your extra night.

i.e.
D1: night 1 of hotel 1 package, day 1 of hotel 1 package tickets
D2: night 2 of hotel 1 of hotel 1 packet, day 2 of hotel 1 package tickets
D3: extra night without tickets, day 3 of hotel 1 package tickets
D4: night 1 of hotel 2 package, day 1 of hotel 2 package tickets
D5: night 2 of hotel 2 package, day 2 of hotel 2 package tickets
D6: last day of hotel 2 package tickets

I'm afraid I can't think of any other way to explain this - I appreciate it might look a bit confusing :rotfl:

I don't know what the cost would be like, but it does mean that you get only 1 set of tickets per day with no duplicates paid for.

We have done split hotels but when we had APs so tickets werent an issue and it was non Disney hotels with Disney ones- eg this time we did 2 nights at Explorers then rest at Sequoia.
It was easy to check out and in again- I think if both Disney hotels they move your luggage for you but we had the car so just piled it in booked out and then booked into next one.

Thanks for all your replys, will take a little time to look into now:laundy: :laundy:
