Is it December Yet?? Cancelled with a Heavy Heart!

TS just made more sense for us, even if we only make a dent in our meals....just having a place to sit as a family makes it worth the extra money going with the deluxe plan.

I'm hoping the ADR thing goes smoothly. I also hope the info on the guest readers for the Candlelight Processional comes out prior to my June 10th date. My 2 Epcot days can be totally switched....it just is hinging on the celebrity. Would hate to set my ADR's and find out the celebrity on the night we're doing the proc. is someone we don't like at all.....but the other night we could go is someone we'd love to see.

I think the ADR's will go ok since I have 2-3 options on each meal. We might just end up running all over the place to do them......lol Oh well.....we wanted to see as much as we possibly could!!

I added the Cape May one in because I keep hearing great things about it......otherwise, we would have missed this one.

Laurie, I am hoping the same thing about the CP readers! Our ADR date is June 9th...a day before yours.:thumbsup2 Oh, and I agree about Cape May...and with a car, it will make it easy to get to...or if you are already at EPCOT that day, it is a beautiful stroll over, through International Gateway. LOVE that walk!

Rosie and I have not even talked about what meals, where or when!!! She is planning an October group trip and they have to get that figured out - she is an Escort for an adult group of Developmentally Challenged. She is a special lady - while these trips are free, she must use her own vacation time.

Love reading your plans. :goodvibes..it's making me really think about getting our planning going!! ::yes::

It will sure make things easier for me in the planning dept to have that information ahead of time. Fingers crossed for the both of us.

That's wonderful that Rosie does that.....I already know I'm gonna love meeting her!!!!

I got a heads up from my TA that the Christmas Party tickets were on sale today.....this evening I finally saw them come up on the website. Well I was basing my itinerary on last year's schedule but instead of running the party on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Fridays.......they are swapping the Weds. for Thursdays.....so I'll need to swap those two days.

I priced it out for the 7 of us & it's almost $400!!! That's spendy!!!! Oh well......as soon as I get my adoption credit from the IRS (which should be anytime) I should be able to purchase them!! ::yes::

.

I'm aching to find out the narrator list myself. Our trip will pretty much revolve around when we go to the Candlelight Processional. I have to hold off on puchasing our MVMCP tix til we find out which night we'll go (stinks that the tix are non-refundable). And also, will have to wait to see where, when and which type of EMH's are so we can plan for some and AVOID the others.

But to give you an example of how amped I am for the CP, I searched the net and found the narrator lists for the past 4 years, and posted it on my PTR, to try to get an idea of who will be when.

I hope we get to see the list this month.....that way we can plan!! So does the narrators tend to stay the same each year?? I can't wait to find out what are 2 choices will be!!!

Yay! :cool1: That is exciting! Very pricey, but what do you really expect from Disney, right?

I knew a group our size would be spendy......but the kid tickets are almost the same as the adult ones!!! :worried:

Here's the link to the page that I listed the narrators at:

http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2855360&page=4

In the past 4yrs, there have been 10 different people doing the narration during the time frame of our stay.

BUT!!!! Neil Patrick Harris did it during this period last year. I can only hope he repeats.

I think Neil Patrick Harris would be awesome to see. I've had a crush on him since his Doogie Howser days...

Thanx for the link to your report....I've subscribed & I'll check out the whole PTR this afternoon!!!! There seems to be a few repeats but can't really speculate who will be there this year.......so I hope Disney announces that very soon!!!

I would like Neal Patrick Harris too! BUT if someone is a big hit they often move up closer to Christmas. I did see Phil Donahue during this same time grame one year...and someone else who was very popular, but I'd never heard of him before.

Sure hope the list is released before June 9 - usually when it's first released it is not complete though. Fingers crossed!!! :)

Do you know historically when they tend to announce this?? I would hope prior to needing to set ADR's but I guess technically you don't do the dinner packages until later on........so I may just have to set our day & hope for the best.:rolleyes1

CP packages dont go on sale until mid/late July, I cant remember when everything was announced last year...June sometime maybe.

I have been wracking my brain trying to remember, but not sure...think it is in May which is why the list is not complete. I am sure the celebs must make arrangements several months in advance. Disney knows the 6 mo mark is coming up for late November and early Dec ADR's, so I expect to see it soon! Fingers crossed!:goodvibes

P.s. How is your stepdad doing? Have not noticed a FB update. Holding him on prayer.

After further digging, I discovered that the preliminary list (usually 1/2 - 2/3 of the narrators) was announced last year on June 22nd.

Oh well.....I'm excited to see the program....the narrator will just be icing on that cake!!!

It would be nice to be prior to making ADR's but if not....I'll set my plan and go with what we get.

My stepdad finally got the dual line added to the pacemaker late yesterday. I haven't heard anything yet today to let me know if it's reversing some of the fluid retention or not. Prior to the procedure his dr said his blood pressure was barely enough to keep him going. He feels confident that this will help but bottom line is: he has congestive heart failure & copd.......these are just a matter of time. Thanx for the prayers & concern!!!

That would be after my ADR date....but that's ok. I could see me holding out to see the narrators....setting my plans & then something changing last minute to have Joe the Plumber filling in for the celebrity we wanted to see.......lol So I'll just pick our night & what we get is what we get. :rotfl2:

Especially since there seem to often be last minute changes to the narrators too. At least it would be Joe the Disney Plumber...:rolleyes1

:rotfl: Yup, I'd hate to get super excited for a certain celebrity for them to call in sick.......it's fun to plan & hopefully get someone interesting (someone we know and like)......but they're just part of the show.

Who knows, Joe the Disney plumber might have a wonderful speaking voice!! ::yes::
