I am travelling in 2 weeks. Will I need long pants at night?

The weather report for the next week in the Orlando area is for it to be in the high 80's each day and the low to mid 60's at night.

This info can be found at www.wesh.com.

It's one of the local television stations.

We just returned Saturday (4/21) after being there 10 days. There were a couple of nights when we were very happy that we (well, I) packed everyone pants and a sweatshirt. Didn't need a heavy jacket but it did get windy and pretty chilly in the evenings a couple of times...the rest of the nights we were fine with shorts and a light sweatshirt.

Sometimes it's hard to tell way in advance if it's going to be chilly in the evenings, because on one of the days it had been HOT during the day so we weren't expecting it to be so cold. So I think since it's still early spring it's smart to pack at least one pair of long pants & sweatshirt of some sort just to play it safe.

Have fun!

That's a hard one. There are some nights when I think it is chilly enough to wear pants. That is especially true if it is windy or if I'm going to be near the water. However, we've had a few nights where it was extremely warm and humid. To be safe, I'd encourage you to bring a pair of long pants just in case.

We did have a cold front with rain pass through last week which had warm days behind it but a couple chilly nights. Cold fronts are much less likely in May but carrying at least one pair of something besides shorts is just a good idea anytime.

We were just down there (4/16 - 4/22) and only needed pants one night. We did put our sweatshirts on two different nights. I would say that it will have to depend on how cold you think you get once the sun goes down. The wind can make a difference and I find it's colder in Epcot because of the water.

I Just got back and it was hot everyday. We did not need pants at all. A sweatshirt for dining in places with air conditioning after hot days in the park is all.
