My husband already booked an off days from work. But we didn't know that it is the peak season of Disney World because of Spring break :( What to do now? Continue to book or maybe just cancel it because it will be packed

we have gone during that exact same time twice and would not hesitate go again. the weather is great and flower and garden is going on. there can be a lot of people during the afternoons but it has always been manageable for us.

Remember spring break is pretty much the end of February until Easter. It is different across most states/provinces. There are some weeks busier than others but they are all somewhat busy.

If that is the best time for you, then I would go and have a bit of a crowd management plan. That can go a long way.

Also note that if it is your spring break and you need to fly, airfares will be high at this point for anytime that week.

Peak times are around Easter, which is later in the month. EasyWDW has the March 9-13 week pegged at about a 7 out of 10, which is above average but "do-able".

Make sure you have a good plan in place and enjoy! It should be beautiful!

We were there March 7-13 last year. The parks weren't too bad at all. From what we were told, the "true" spring break starts the following week- I don't know how accurate that is. As far as weather, the first day we were there it was yucky. Cold, about 55, and rainy. The next six days- each was better than the day before. It his 80-82 four of the six. The last day was a little cooler- around 65 and a bit windy, but in the sun it was still nice. I think you'll have a great time.

We'll be there 3/6 thru 3/20 and I've started building a park strategy here: More for Less

Reserved our first FP's this morning for late arrival night.

In 2011 we went two weeks before Easter, which the consensus is the week or two before Easter is usually the busiest of the Spring Break season. We found it was do-able. The mornings didn't seem bad at all, by afternoons it was busy, but didn't seem like it was any worse than a normal summer day. The good thing was it wasn't as hot and humid as summer. We are going the week of March 9th this year and I'm not too worried. Keep in mind that there is still a big difference between 'off season' and a 'do-able busy day', if you have your heart set on no crowds, March definitely won't make you happy. If you just want re-assurance that you can still do things and have fun, then you will just fine!:)

Probably a busy week with spring breaks starting to roll around. That is Spring Break for Texas public schools, some Texas colleges/universities. Oldest son's college is out the next week. I've been in March and enjoyed the cooler temps. than summer.

That is the week of my two college age kids spring break.
A couple years ago we went during that week. We liked the weather and the crowds weren't too bad.
