Just from the money spent perspective is Hoop Hee Doo Worth the 2 credits for the adult meals or should we pay OOP and save it for another meal. For example we were going to pay OOP for Whispering Canyon at $21.99 a person and Hoop Dee Doo being $50.22 (including tax) It is better to save the coupon for Whispering Canyon because it includes tax and tip. I guess I am asking if Hoop Dee Doo requires a tip when you get there because that could be the difference on whether or not I pay OOP for Hoop Dee Doo. TIA

I don't remember the tip issue. I think I would always leave one; I tend to be generous - it's a hard job. But that said, I don't even like physical humor, but I and the rest of my party found the show awesome and well worth every penny.

My family and I were there last week and we LOVED it...it was one of our favorite events of the whole week. We thought the entertainers were great - the food was great - and the whole room seemed like everyone was having a blast. Tip is included with your dining plan or even with your payment ahead of time. I would HIGHLY suggest this dinner show to anyone ready to have a great family/date night while at WDW.

The cost of HDDR (50.22) includes tax and tip even when you pay cash/oop. So no need to tip additional, unless you decide to.

If you drink wine/beer/sangria then that will add value to HDDR as those would cost more and are not covered by the DP at other restaurants no matter how many credits you use.

I didnt think I would really enjoy HDDR but we did it during the free dining offer and now it is one of our favorites! I think it is worth the 2 credits and would spend it again.

HELP! How do you book this if you are using the Dining Plan?

I am getting ready to book this for my group and we will probably do the Dining Plan. Do I just charge it to my Credit Card now and then get this "fixed" when we give the credits?? SORRY I know this must be here but my search is not finding it!

Carol, tell them you are on the dining plan. They will still take a CC number but you will not be charged unless you do not show up. :sunny:

When you book the Hoop Dee Doo, they take and charge your credit card. When you dine, tell them you are using the Dining Plan and they will credit your card. HTH.

Hopefully said:

I made my reservation last month for this show. We are using the dining plan. I just told them that we wanted to use dining credits. The took a credit card number but NOTHING IS CHARGED!!!! The number is just in case you don't show and/or don't cancel within the 48 hours of the show...then the card will be charged, but it IS NOT charged up front for anything. :cool1:

We are planning to go using our TS credits. I feel they could be better used but that it will be less painful to pay out of pocket for somethng else.

For example, we may eat at Trail's end, which is not that expensive, and pay out of pocket.

Also, because we are staying at FW and will probably eat breakfast at our campsite, it looks like we will have extra CS credits that we can use for something.

It depends where you might use the 2 TS credits if you pay out of pocket for HDDR. Its not worth it if you are going to use them at a breakfast or breakfast buffet but if you were going to Concourse Steakhouse and Le Cellier where it could cost $43 per adult before tax and tip per restaurant then its worth out of pocket. It all depends on how you are going to use them. We used TS credits for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and later regretted it. The credit could have been used better somewhere else.

Dh & I really loved HDDR. We were going to use our dp credits for this. We booked 90 days out & our cc WAS charged for this in the next billing cycle. DH & I decided at that point since it was paid for 3 months before our trip we would just leave it at that & used our TS credits for other meals

DH thinks this show was the best thing he did in the 10 days we were there. so don't miss it :)

I don't understand why some people using the DDP are being charged up front for the HDDR and others aren't. I was not.

you have to be sure to tell them when you book it that you are on the Dining Plan, they still take your card # but it doesn't go on your cc. if it does you need to call and find out why:confused3
