Is "honey, I shrunk the audience"...

I read in somewhere that it was closed because of the last hurricane damages. But, is it still closed?

I haven't been to Epcot recently to see, but it is no longer listed as being closed on the Cast member information bulletins. Perhaps someone could confirm, but by all info I have seen it has reopened.

It's the playground at the Studios that was actually closed due to hurricane damage. I'm not sure when it reopened (or if it has yet).

Tinksmom is correct. Its the Honey I shrunk the kids playground area at MGM that is closed. And I actually think there going to re-hab this area before it opens again. Several hard hat's walking around.

That's funny, I don't frequent the parks often, but the Cast member information that was issued, via the internet, was that it was Honey I Shrunk the Audience at Epcot that was closed due to Hurricane Damage. I had commented to my Husband that HISTA (as it's called) was closed and I wondered what had happened to the building. Regardless neither Honey I Shrunk the Audience or Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground are listed on the current closed/rehab lists on the CM information links. The only thing listed for MGM right now is The Magic of Animation which reopens October 18 and the only thing listed for Epcot is Wonders Of Life which is seasonal.

We were there the day after hurricane Jeanne and HISTA was definetly open because we saw it. And yes it was the playground that is closed.

We were at MGM on 10/3 & the playground was closed but on 10/7 it was open. Kids had a good time.

Actually it was just closed for rehab back in June and July. They've already repaired the hurricane damage and the playground is now open again.

I'm glad to hear the playground is open. My kids love to play there. It's one of the reasons they like to go to the studios.
