Would you say Hollywood Studios is worth going to right now?

I'm trying to get an idea of which parks we might do for our November trip and I'm thinking:

Day 1: Magic kingdom
Day 2: Epcot
Day 3: Epcot and MVMCP
Day 4: rest day, perhaps the beach
Day 5: Animal Kingdom
Day 6: Magic Kingdom

All the magic kingdom days would be party days, but our kids go to sleep early so I don't think leaving at 7 would be bad. I just can't decide if we should do an extra epcot or Hollywood studios on the party day. I'm hoping that by having a rest day after the party our kids can recuperate!
I need restaurant recommendations too. I'm counting down the days to make our adrs :)

We will be there during Food and Wine.

My children will be 8,5, and 18 months.

Clarifying questions:

1. Do your 8 and 5 year olds enjoy Star Wars?

2. Are your 8 and 5 year olds over 40" tall? 48" tall?

3. Do your 8 and 5 year olds enjoy thrill rides?

4. Do your kids as a whole enjoy stage shows featuring princesses (namely, Belle, Ariel, Elsa and Anna)?

Right now, the biggest single chunk of DHS is caught up in Star Wars. Toy Story is the major all-heights ride; Star Tours and Tower of Terror are 40" tall, a d Rock n Roller Coaster is 48". The latter 2 are thrill rides; the former is Star Wars.

If your kids were to want to do Jedi Training (requires you to be around for Rope Drop to enroll), want to meet Kylo Ren and Chewbacca and hang at Launch Bay, ride Star Tours? Plenty to do. Hit multiple princess stage shows? Sure. Hate Star Wars, not feel all that warm about stage shows, not like thrill rides (or are short)? Not as much to do in that case.

1. Not really. The 8 year old know what it is, but has never watched the movies.
2. The 5 year old is 39" one, the 8 year old is probably 48".
3. They both like thrill rides.
4. I honestly don't know that they would enjoy sitting through shows. Especially the 8 year old and the 18 month old.

I think so. I would do a shorter day there, maybe arrive at opening and leave in the early afternoon. We like star tours, muppets, frozen sing along, TSMM, Disney jr. show, little mermaid and the movie ride. We usually eat at either Brown Derby or Sci Fi, the kids love Sci Fi. We still enjoy it even though it is in transition.

We enjoyed it. We ended up spending two days there because our youngest caught a bug and was throwing up so he and my DH didn't leave the room at all the first day we were there. He wanted to do Jedi Training so we used our second rest day to spend another day. We all enjoyed it.

I wouldn't spend 2 days at Epcot if I had a 5 day ticket but that's me.

It depends on what days of the week the Epcot days are because weekend days at Epcot during food and wine can be crazy. It's hard to even walk in the world showcase. If it's a weekend day, I think you might enjoy a HS morning better just because of crowds. If it's a week day either option should be fine. Two Epcot mornings might be good with the new Frozen stuff open!

With so much of it closed down for the new stuff being added, I would skip it this trip. Do it the next time you return when more is available.

With your children's ages I would focus on MK and AK. If you and your significant other are foodies/wine lovers I may suggest hiring a sitter and doing the Epcot food and wine one evening.

All of the days are weekdays except day 1. I'm only looking at 2 Epcot days so that we can FP both Soarin or Test Track and the Frozen ride.

Geez, they haven't closed anything at HS that I will miss!

Toy Story Mania, Rockin Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Great Movie Ride and Fantasmic have nothing to do with Star Wars. I don't even think of Star Wars when I do Star Tours, which is one of my very favorite rides in all of WDW.

HS is my second fav park right after Magic Kingdom. Still plenty to do.

That sounds like a great plan! With the new stuff and tiering it may take you the 2 days to get it in.

My youngest two are 9 and 6 and they actually really enjoyed the street performers this time around. That said...while we were there on two different days, on neither of them did we stay for an entire day. It's become my favorite park to walk around and just take in the atmosphere, but still.

My mom all be making the trip with us, so I might just make this suggestion. She thinks 5 days is going to be too much for the kids anyway. Perhaps I'll see if she wants to do a morning with us at Epcot and then take the kids back to our rental afterwards. The last time we went our kids were 5 and 2 and they were not thrilled with the world.
