is hilton head "room ready " policy???

hi folks... checking into a grand villa (yay!) on sunday august 7th and wondering if hilton head is "room ready" with regards to assigning?i can be there early , or could call the front desk and leave requests with them the day before, but dont want to be a pest to them in any way. anybody know? im grateful to doc who let me know his grand villa recently in bld 19 was in fine shape because the there have been opinions that some of the grand villas there are in need of a spruce up. ok.. have a good day everyone!

On our case, we stayed in a studio the night before moving to the GV - there were 2 unoccupied GV's that night and I was able to check-in and move at 8:00am (I had to wait until 8 for the computer to allow the check-in). That would be an example of room-ready for certain.

I'd check in whenever you get there, but be aware that what is available is entirely dependant on the occupancy the night before. With only 5 GV's, there are not a lot of options anyway.
