Is Gringotts a rollercoaster?

I get motion sick and generally avoid roller-coasters. I rode FJ a few years ago after taking anti-nausea meds. Didn't feel great after the ride, but it was worth it! Not sure I would do it again though. I read a few posts where people are saying that Gringotts is not as intense as FJ. Can someone describe what kind of a ride it is?

It's on a track like a roller coaster, but it just goes in short spurts and you keep stopping to watch 3D movie sequences. I thought it was kind of like the Mummy, not as intense as FJ for me.

I did it only because I saw the night vision of the ride on Youtube before it got taken down. The only other ride I ever do is the Seuss Trolley, and now Hogwarts Express.

There is about a 15 foot drop at the beginning in total darkness and some lefts and rights. Some 180 turns, and an up-and-down little part. Thee are simulated screens and 3d glasses. I had to close my eyes a bit.

I did NOT feel quesy at all, and my palms were only a little sweaty. It was great! I asked my son that since I liked this and am fine, could I do FJ? He said no way.

So there you go- I think you will be fine!

Even if you don't ride FJ, do the castle tour- it's awesome!

Thanks for the description! You definitely helped me decide to go for it!

Rode it today and I was more aware of the OP's question. There are more turns than 2, but NOt spins, if that makes sense. Still love it!

And I was in the FIRsT row! Loved it still!:thumbsup2
