What is your definition of a sport and do you consider Golf a sport? Or is it a competition that involves great skill, but is not a sport. Or is it something else?

Most people I know ride in a cart and drink beer while on the golf course.
For them it is not a sport.
Is there a cheerleading vs golf war brewing???![]()
.

I think they're fighting to see who gets to take on the winner of the Sync. Swimming/bowling battle to see who moves on to the quarters? Is there a cheerleading vs golf war brewing???![]()
That's why it's a sport. Because my DH wasn't used to going out during the winter, every time he'd go (when the temperature was above 40 and there was no snow on the course) he'd come back completely sore and spent after walking the course.sport == competitive physical activity

FWIW, I think both are sports.
Doing The Firm, alone, in your basement at home, is not a sport. It is exercise.I've always viewed sport as something that causes me to break a sweat
I don't think I sweat more EVER than when doing a Firm workout. My DD and I always laugh at how put together the women leading the sweat brigade look. We wish we could have cutaways to freshen ourselves up, too.Doing The Firm, alone, in your basement at home, is not a sport. It is exercise.
A sport is always exercise; exercise is not always a sport.
Personally, I love Robin Williams monologue on Golf. Can't post it here for obvious reasons, it IS Robin Williams, but it is hysterical. You can find it on YouTube.
