Is Ginger Ale Available Anywhere?

I don't recall ever seeing Ginger Ale in Disney World anywhere, but since I don't normally drink soda, I very well could have missed it my past few trips and not recall what's available from all my other trips.

So, is Ginger Ale available at any park/resort restaurant/cart, resort store, or room service? It helps my stomach when I get a stomach ache, so it'd be nice to have available somewhere.

Thanks! :)

It's never been offered as a soda option at any restaurant that we've been to, nor have I seen it at any stores.

If you are getting a grocery order this is something you may want to get from there, or you could maybe try to get it at MCO after you land and bring it with you.

You should be able to get it at any bar or restaurant with a bar - it's used for some mixed drinks. The 2 Hess stations on property also have bottled ginger ale.

That is such a good question!

I would bet you could call your resort gift shop ahead of time and find out.

I give it to my DD when she's got a tummy ache as well - it does help a lot to soothe an upset stomache.

I may be ordering from Garden Grocer for our upcoming trip, just juice, water, and milk. I may add a bottle of that just in case.

I would bet room service would carry it - I recall years ago at a Hilton getting some when I didn't feel well. That is a much more expensive option, but when you need it, it's worth it.

Edited to add: I just looked at the room service menu from AKL out of curiousity (allears.net) and the do list ginger ale on that. So I think it is probably available!

They have ginger ale at Boma. I know I had some at other TS but can't remember which. You do have to ask though, because they always offer the regular coke products but don't usually mention ginger ale.

Never seen it available at any resort beverage fountain we've been at.

We were able to get it at Mama Melrose, Nine Dragons and Cap'n Jacks.

I was able to get it at Turf Club from the bar. It is used for some cocktails so I am betting any full service bar would have it. I am not sure if they would count it as a DDP beverage however since it has to come from the bar.

I agree with the previous poster, if there is a bar serving mixed drinks, there is usually ginger ale. Other than that, I could never find it. We were staying at the AKL and I was able to get some from the bar, I think its called Victoria Falls.

If I recall correctly, there is a ginger ale beverage available in the tasting area at Club Cool in EPCOT....for free! Doesn't help much for meals, etc., but it at least be somewhere to get a temporary ginger ale fix! ::MinnieMo

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: and then they better know where to find the ginger ale for the tummy!:rotfl:

hey at least its good for dieting!
isn't is supposed to be a crave depressor or something along the lines?

maybe that's what's wrong with my diet...if I just had some Beverly around all the time. Think DH would agree to move to WDW so I could stay on my diet with my Beverly?:lmao:

Probably if you prove you're actually drinking it!

If ginger helps your tummy (it helps mine) you might want to bring a few Altoids ginger tablets or some other sort of ginger candy. I'm a ginger ale for my tummy person as well, and I carry ginger tablets when I travel.

Any bar or restaurant with a full service bar should have it.

Awesome, thank you guys so much! I'll be at AKL, so it is good to know it is on the room service menu as well as at the bar! :) I know I'll be at that bar for a different reason, haha, so now I have a second reason! ;)

I do believe, as others mentioned that Boma, Mama Melrose and Nine Dragons have gingerale. Surprisingly, Le Cellier does not.

I have always tried to order Ginger ale. I prefer that over any other soda, so that's my first choice.

But I did want to warn you that some waiters/waitresses will offer to make one.....:scared1: don't let them. In most cases they just mix Sprite or 7up with Coke. It doesn't taste anything like Gingerale and is quite honestly, disgusting.:scared:

Nor does it help your tummy.

BTW, if you want to really "make" ginger ale, make a simple syrup with a lot of fresh ginger in it (boil sugar and water) add a few tablespoons of the syrup to soda water or mineral water.
