Is getting to Cape May a Hassle? (from other Disney resorts)

Our family will be traveling to Disney this summer and we are debating going to Cape May for Breakfast. However, we are nervous about getting there from the Wilderness. Are questions are...
1. In your opinion, what would be the fastest way to get to Cape May from the Wilderness?
2. Is the walkway located inside or outside Hollywood Studios?
3. Is the walkway easy to find at Hollywood Studios? (how long does it take?)
4. Is it feasible to get a 8:15 reservation and actually get their from the Wilderness
5. Last thing, at the transportation center, are there buses to each Disney resort?
Thanks for taking the time to post

1. In your opinion, what would be the fastest way to get to Cape May from the Wilderness? Drive or take a taxi.

2. Is the walkway located inside or outside Hollywood Studios? You can walk from HS to BC. Expect it to take 20 minutes.

3. Is the walkway easy to find at Hollywood Studios? (how long does it take?)
Pretty easy, just walk towards the lake when you come out of HS and go around the lake to the right.

4. Is it feasible to get a 8:15 reservation and actually get their from the Wilderness I assume you mean 8:15 am (for breakfast). Driving or taking a taxi will make this easy. Relying on Disney transportation is possible, but not easy.

5. Last thing, at the transportation center, are there buses to each Disney resort? No. You'd need to go to a park or DTD to catch a bus to another resort.

1. From WL, the fastest way it a cab, or rental car.
2. Outside.
3. Yes. When you get off the buses, just keep walking toward the canal, with DHS on your left. Walk along with the parking lot on your right, canal on your left..you will see the walkway to BW, with signage. It takes about 15 mins.
4. Yes, you could be out at the bus stop at 6:45. Take the bus to DHS. Then walk over to BC....that should be about an hour total, depending on how long you wait for the bus.
5. No. There are no buses that run between TTC and the resorts.

:thumbsup2We found it much more relaxing, MUCH faster, and simply worth every penny to use a taxi going from resort to resort - especially if an ADR was at stake. We never paid more than $18 including tip (and that was ASMovies to GF!). Instead of an hour plus to take the bus to a park, then transfer to another bus, just hail a cab out front and get there in 10 minutes!
