Sounds like OP already has made their choice - but for anyone else making a decision, the pic below is my last garden view room at HRH (high floor requested) - a garden with a porte cochere was a new one to me.

Upgrading Uni or Disney room views doesn’t matter much to me (as few are that great outside theme or water park views, and high floors at Aventura). Didn’t mind this one as it was the lowest room category available when I booked an AP rate - but I wouldn’t be thrilled to pay extra specifically for a view and get something like the HRH lobby driveway.

I think you meant Portofino Bay hotel. It is the only onsite hotel that has any rooms with balconies (and there are only a few of those.)

I did mean Hard Rock - I remember reading there are a few rooms with balconies there, Juliet style ones, but perhaps those are suites or no longer guest rooms? Either way, my point still stands that there’s not going to be a private outside space to enjoy any views from.
