Is Frozen worth it for older teens/adults?

I am really torn about this ride for our trip in February. Me, hubby, 20-year and 12-year old daughter going. We all love Soarin and Test Track, so I don't think I am going to use my one Tier 1 fast pass on this, even though we like Frozen as well. I will wait until another trip to ride it. After February, our next trip might just be a while, so the hype will hopefully have died down.

We are going during a slower time frame, but our Epcot day is on a Saturday, thus it will probably be busy. So getting to ride Soarin and Test Track at least once with very minimal wait will be my end goal I suppose. I have thought about the idea of getting in line about 10 minutes before closing too for Frozen.

The FEA wait times aren't a product of high crowds. It's a (very , very popular ) low-capacity attraction. Even at the lowest crowd times of the year will still have 60-90 minute waits simply because the capacity of the attraction isn't enough to handle the demand .

I have read where Disney will post extremely high wait times at the end of the nights to deter people from getting on rides. We are not the type to run at rope drop either. I will add that I have swapped our Epcot day from a Saturday to a Wednesday. If we don't get to ride it this trip, that is okay, we will next time.

That is doable, if its running, the stand by line is not closed off, ect. And maybe with the switch off of a Saturday to a Wednesday will help as well.

It's cute...but lame. If you're a Frozen fan you'll probably like it. My parents had never seen the movie and had no clue what was happening and couldn't understand what the "story" of the ride was supposed to be. I HATED the movie. AFAIC it's the worst Disney film ever. However, my indifference to the ride is because of how slapshod the ride was. As another poster pointed out, cute scenes connected by looooong stretches of nothing...and when they did decide to "grace" us with a scene, it was only one side of the boat. the opposite wall was blank. Would it have killed them to decorate the whole room???

Truly a one-and-done for us. We'll save our FP for Soarin'.

So torn. . . I KNOW my DH will think it's boring, tho my girls may say "oh soooo cute". Honestly we'd probably all love a 2d Soarin' ride instead!!

TT. I liked it and it was cute but after experiencing it and the other rides, it's not FP Tier 1/wait in a long line for over an hour-cute. Glad I did it but don't feel the need to do it again unless the line was manageable.

As a techie person that likes how things work, I like this ride to see where things have progressed and where they might be going next.. It's the latest iteration of animatronics that disney has so there is a lot of movement not only in the characters but some of them moving around while animated. I also like the projection faces they are using, I think it really makes an animatronic look like a cartoon and a nice bridge of life and cartoon based movies.

In a word, nope. Like another poster said, there's no story here. I just rode it for the first time on Tuesday and I found it severely lacking in that department. I didn't really understand what we were doing other than going to the ice palace...and then we weren't there anymore. Story scenes had characters talking, but not forwarding a story. I found our boat entering certain scenes with dialog being spoken already feeling like I missed something or no dialog being spoken at all.

Sure, the animatronics were neat looking -- I found the first Olaf figure we see an enjoyable start and I think the Let It Go scene is actually pretty strong -- but other than that, it was a bit of a bust.

I should admit that I'm not a huge fan of the movie -- it's okay, but insanely overrated in my opinion. But I'd not give up on Test Track or the new Soarin' (which I think is better than the first version).

The big if is whether you can even get a FEA fastpass. If you can I'd take it and do TT as single rider and rope drop soarin. If not, I'd try for Soarin and rope drop FEA. We are in the camp of see and do as much as possible especially if you're unsure of when you'll be back. We thought the ride was fantastic even my son who isn't a frozen fan. Would I wait 90+ min? I would rather not but I wouldn't want to wait that long for TT either. Either way you'll have a great time.

IMO, no. The ride didn't thrill me at all. Never plan on going again. I'll take Soarin and Test Track ANYDAY over Frozen

yes! No story at all. My friend and I looked at another and said "that's it??" And it was more Olaf than anything (which I love but still..) should've been the Olaf ride

One and done for me. Unless wait times drastically change in the next several years. I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes for it.
