Is Frozen Live FP Still Crazy?

Hello!

I will be in DCA on Wednesday!! I was wondering if the FP situation for Frozen live is still as crazy as it was when it first opened? I've read and heard mixed reviews for the pre-show, so I've decided not to go with it.

Do you still have to show up over an hour early to get a good view? Do you still have to get Frozen FP first thing? Even for a later showing?

Thanks!

It seems like it has slowed down, as many current locals with the better AP's have seen the show, but the SoCal AP's just got access back to the park today after a long summer blockout, so it can easily get crazy again. I would still get there before opening, and head straight to the Frozen FastPass distribution when the park opens.

For the past month I have noticed that the FP lasts longer on non Early Entry dates.

For example, one day last week on a Early Entry day all of the Frozen FP's were gone by 1030am at a 9am park opening. It seemed a bit odd that it would run out that fast. So not sure what the cause was.

We were there this past Tuesday (non-early entry day). We wanted the last show and I swung by at 12:15 and got Orchestra section tickets for the 5:50 show. We got to the theater around 5:25 and ended up about 2/3rds of the way back in the Orchestra section line. We got seats right in the middle of the last Orchestra row (there were two rows of "reserved" seating behind us that were totally unoccupied). Great view without too much waiting.
