Is Frozen Fun ending May 21?

All the commercials they are airing in Southern California says it ends May 13th. The Diamond Celebration starts May 22nd so they need a week to re-do stuff.

Truthfully, I don't know if all of the DLR departments are checking with each other! Some folks got flyers announcing that Olaf's Snow Fest was ending on April 30, 2015. Other blog postings have indicated that Frozen Fun (the Sing-A-Long and Freeze the Night) will end on May 15th. My inclination is to say that most things in DCA (except the A&E meet and greet, and maybe "how to draw a snowman") will end on May 15th. That gives them a week to get things ready for the 60th. They're already announced that Mad T Party will resume on May 22nd, so Freeze the Night will logically have to end the weekend before so they can take down the Freeze the Night stuff and convert the area back to Mad T Party.

On that note, there hasn't been any firm indication if any or some of the Frozen Fun elements will return for the holidays. If I had to guess, I would say Olaf's Snow Fest and the Sing-A-Long are the most likely to return. They were vague, but the posting said that Mad T Party would run its diamond version throughout the 60th celebration, so I'm thinking that means Freeze the Night won't be back. My guess is that they're going to wait and see if Frozen is still extremely popular at the end of the year before deciding what to do.

Only if the ice thaws, otherwise not until spring, when ma nature takes over with natural de icing/thawing. lol

I was there yesterday. I heard all Frozen Fun will be shutting down May 15th because they need a week do redo the section for the 60th anniversary starting May 22nd.

Based on everything that has been reported since Frozen Fun started, different activities have different end dates or no end date at all.
April 30: Olaf's Snow Fest
May 13 or 15: Frozen Fun (Sing-A-Long at Muppet Theater, Freeze the Night)

No announced end date:
Anna & Elsa Meet & Greet
Wanna Draw a Snowman (Animation Academy)
Frozen at Fantasy Faire (Royal Theatre)
Anna & Elsa Pre-Parade Float (Soundsational)

Permanent (or not likely to be removed in the near future):
Arandelle in Storybook Canal
Anna & Elsa Boutique in DTD

Frozen will be long go by the time we arrive? Best news I've heard all week!
The concentration of Frozen in Hollywoodland in DCA will likely be gone by the start of the 60th anniversary, but there will still be plenty of Frozen scattered throughout the parks. Unless you wait until Frozen is no longer popular, you're going to see a large Frozen presence in the park anyway.

I'm just pissed because the Frozen meet and greet booted the amazing Toy Story Zoetrope from the Animation Building. Any word on when or whether it will be restored somewhere in the resort?

Now that the schedule is published, I can see that Olaf's Snow Fest is showing as available from 10-8 on April 30th and NOT shown after that date. Attractions and Entertainment schedules are posted through May 4th at this point.

Super excited, as April 30th is our first day in the parks, and our DCA day. My three boys are only interested in Olaf as far as the Frozen Fun goes. :cool1:

Where are you finding the attractions and entertainment schedules for May 3-4?

I was hoping the singalong may have stayed, would have loved doing that with my 6yo Princess...

If you go to the page for Olaf's Snow Fest and select April 30th, you'll see operating hours (10 am to 8 pm). If you select May 1, it says "No times available." I'm not quite sure how much stock I'd put into those times...yet. The calendars are often a little wonky around the 1st of a month. For example, the sing-along shows times for May 1 and 2, but says "no times available" for the 3rd and 4th, despite those being select-able days. My inclination is to say the times haven't been loaded yet for the 3rd and 4th, rather than thinking the Sing-Along ends on the 2nd. For Olaf's snow fest, the last day being the 30th is consistent with what's been reported, so I think that is likely accurate (at this point).

I was basing my info on what I saw on disneyland.com but the schedule is now not available for May 3-4. But I triple checked before posting so they must have posted them and then taken the times down? I do not know why their schedule release dates fluctuate the way they do. Don't the people at DLR know we're DYING to know what our vacations are going to look like? Lol :confused3

Can anyone tell me a bit more about this. Do you just show up and walk in or do you have to wait in a long line for this? What do you need fast passes for just the Anna and Elsa meet and greet? Is it tough to get into the sing along? thanks!
