Is Frozen dining package recommended?

I saw where Frozen doesn't take Fastpass any longer but it looks like there is an option to do a dining package, but that seems expensive.

Is it difficult to see the show without the package?

I believe I heard that the dining package was ending within the next few weeks so it may not be an option for you anyways.

Ooo. I hope it is not ending! I wasn't going to do it this trip but I might change my mind now! Where did you hear that? Its not needed for a good seat but it is a true premium experience. You get in early and get to pick your seats. When we did it, the were only about 20 people and the show was packed.

We loved the dining package. We got to use our time eating instead of standing in the line. We were about 15 people in the package line and we got to pick our seats before the line was let in.

Thanks everyone, I guess we will plan on working into touring plan and assume that is the only option for July.

Someone in the June check in thread said that Disney called them and cancelled their Frozen dining package because it was no longer going to be offered.

We had it booked for June 20. Disney called and cancelled, saying the Frozen dining package was not available for that date any longer. I'm not sure if that means it's cancelled for good.
