No, but Fridays are busier than other weekdays. Going on a Tuesday or Wednesday would be better, IMO.

I don't fear any day, because I get to the park early and take a lap before the crowd arrives.

Earlier in the week is better, but if you get there early you should be ok on a friday. We have been pretty much every day of the week on our many trips. Even in the less crowded times of the year we have found that weekends are the most crowded of course with the local folks visiting too...
